Game is awesome. Havent gotten to play it yet because everyone interested in it immediately dipped out after I purchased it. Even playing alone is fun though.

Everything that Awaken Realms makes is of the highest quality and always worth every last penny that you spend! The design, artwork, miniatures, cards and actually binder with sleeved sheets are spot on, and with the built-in deck building, card unlocking and requires game guidance app you have everything you need to have a kick-ass, long-term space voyage campaign!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The game is great but starts to get ver overwhelming at certain point. Be ready to read and listen to thousands of texts and dialogs. I also got the expansion with some more miniatures but even with that I wasn't able to finish the entire game before everyone falls asleep.

An amazing game that takes you in a travel through space. I just played a couple of sections and there were all different from each other and the story is really interesting and got me hooked on it.

I really love this game it's on the table right now it's a really good good game it's one of my top 10 best games it's great I really like it I hope they come out with more expansions but it's great I recommend this game to anybody no matter what the price is it's great

If you are a serious tabletop or board gamer, and you need a break from high fantasy like I did, this is the breath of fresh air you are looking for. ISS Vanguard is beautifully designed (I can't say enough about how much I love the flow of gameplay, especially during the Ship Phase), massive in scale (physically and gameplay-wise), and extremely fun to play. I played through the campaign solo, and cannot wait to play through it with others now. There are some elements that feel best suited for solo play, but other aspects that feel like they would be more enjoyable and interesting in a group. Either way, you can't go wrong. Like many cooperative long-campaign games, it takes some time and reading to get the rules locked in, and it is designed to be very challenging and punishing at times, but very rewarding as you progress. 100% recommend!

This game is truly outstanding and immersive. The artwork and components add to the quality of the branching story line. There is an app with terrific voice actors and sound effects that bring the narrations to life. The way you can build your crew, how they are used, and the choices you make each mission make this an experience you’ll never forget. I’ve played the entire campaign solo, four characters. I have the Kickstarter edition, Personnel files, and Pets; I highly recommend them if you can get them.

This boardgame comes in a heavy box --- just the kind I like. because that means that it is full of various components, from some character figures, over 1000 playing cards divided into differing decks, playing mats representing planet surfaces and lots of different dice. The game is a cooperative game for 1-4 players, and involves the development of the chacters through the exploration of various planets. There is an overarching story line too, but I am not going to give that away. as many of the elements of the game are random, it also has a replayability factor. If you have loads of dosh, you can also buy an additional box of minitiatures that cover space craft and aliens met in the game, I do love games with minitatures. This is a big game for serious gamers, but no collection of boardgames should be without it.

This game is very fun to play and the story is very well written. I have played solo, with 2 players and with 3. I think the sweet spot is solo to 2 players. It is easy to learn and extremely well organized. The ship phase is my favorite, but the planet exploration is just as rewarding and fun. I'm about 15 hours in and loving it. Would highly recommend any of awaken realms games, this one.. Is very worth the price of entry!
