Great Boots
Harley Davidson has put out some good riding boots over the years. But that's just it, they are made for riding and NOT walking.. These boots fit the bill for both. Comfortable fit, easy to put on and take off due to the side zip, cool on the feet, great for riding and very comfortable for walking. Feet stay cool also. Not sure how they will be in cooler temps but I believe with a good pair of wool socks that they will be fine. I am glad to give these boots a 5 star rating.

Great shoe
As others have stated, they run about 1/2 size larger than listed. Glad I took their advice and order 1/2 size smaller. Fit perfect. Very comfortable first time I put them on. Only one MAJOR flaw. The seams between the leather toe and mesh breaks very quickly. I've worn these boots for 6 months and the seams on both boots are broke on the inside and out. Boots are barely wearable anymore. For the price, they could have better quality seams.

right out of the box I knew these wold be perfect.as soon as I put them on, I knew they were made for me. perfect fit, VERY comfy and very lightweight. I am a chef and I need good support in the kitchen, Ill never look at another boot as long as these are available.

Good riding boot
Reviews say it runs big but since I was going to use inserts (bad feet) I ordered my size. Even with inserts they are still a bit too large. since 90% of use is riding a motorcycle its not a big thing but would hate to have to walk or hike in them in this size. Order a half size smaller if you want a proper fit.. Over all it is a comfortable boot and easy on and off with the zipper side.Sturdy and good traction. Breathes pretty good. will buy again, but 1/2 size smaller

These boots are Fantastic. I normally don't spend very much on shoes ...
These boots are Fantastic. I normally don't spend very much on shoes and I don't usually buy boots. however, I wanted to get these for riding my Harley. One thing to keep in mind, if you are used to riding with standard shoe or boot that is not very tall around the toes .... this might throw you off on your shifting at first. These are very tall and it is a little tough to get your foot under the shifter at first. I tried adjusting the shifter, but just one notch was too far, so I put it back and just got used to using these boots. Now that the boots have loosened up and I've been riding with them a lot, I don't even notice any difficulty. As for putting them on.... I tied them once and just use the zipper to take on and off. LOVE it.

Like many boots
I typically wear a size 10 in my dress shoes and sneakers but saw that these run a little large as boots often do so ordered a 9 1/2. Upon receipt, the 9 1/2's seemed a little large so while nervous that the 9's would be too small, I sent them back anyway knowing I could go back and forth with minimal cost if necessary. That said, the 9's showed up and they fit quite well. Like many boots, them seem thick - as in the boots is a lot taller over my foot and toes than my foot actually is thick. Again, I feel like all my boots are like that especially my steel toed ones. Kind of makes sense. As a result, I put a set of SuperFeet insoles in the boots and that picked up a lot of the gap in that area. The 9's are the perfect fit for me in length and width and the addtion of the insoles over the top of the existing insoles (what the boot came with and already had in them - with Harley emblem) and now even the thickness feels just about right. Very nice looking boot and I agree with prior comments, laced them nice and snug so the fit well and then they are a very simple and quick in and out with the zipper on the side. Very happy with the boots at this point - just be aware they like lots of boots run large and I persoanally prefer a more snug fit.

Light and Comfortable but Large
The Roland is a good looking, light-weight, comfortable boot, but they are not a heavy-duty motorcycle boot and they do not provide any special protection for the foot in the event of a crash. The boots are a comfortable in warm temperatures (when I ride I feel air flowing through the mesh panels) but I doubt that they will do in cold weather. Sizing runs large. I wear a 7 1/2 - 8. I ordered these in 7 1/2 and they were loose on my feet. I put in a pair of Dr Scholl's inserts which helped, but they are are still a little large. I'll try a second pair of inserts. If you buy I suggest ordering a 1/2 size smaller than usual. I wish I would have. Still, they are light and comfortable which was what I wanted.

Great summer boots for any type of rider!
I ride a Suzuki DRZ400 Supermoto but I like these Harley boots anyway. They do not look like "biker" boots. These boots look more like the tactical boots that police officers wear. They look great! They definitely breathe better than any other boots I own when riding. You would not want to wear these when riding in cold or wet weather.I have only worn them on one ride so I will update this review later when I know more about how they wear. They do seem well made on first impression.UPDATE 8-20-16 - Boots are holding up well - still look new. UPDATE 5-25-17 - They still look new.
