This floating thermometer is a fantastic and practical tool for bath time. Not only does it accurately measure the water temperature, but it also doubles as a cute toy that keeps my baby entertained during their bath. Using it is incredibly easy. The thermometer floats on the water and gives a clear digital readout of the temperature, so I always know when the water is just the right temperature for my baby. It’s reassuring to have that extra layer of safety, especially during those early newborn bath times when I was unsure of the ideal water temperature as a first-time mom.

We had a different floating thermometer before this one, but it stopped working pretty quickly. This duck has been a big upgrade—it feels sturdier, the display is larger and easier to read, and the temperature has been spot-on every time. It flashes a warning if the water is too warm, which gives me peace of mind, especially during those early baths. I also love that it was priced similarly to the one we replaced but feels much better made. Bonus: our baby loves playing with it, so it’s pulling double duty as a bath toy too!

Feel much more confident having this thermometer for the bathtub. has great indicators of a green flashing light if too cold and a red flashing light if too hot. It also starts a timer as soon as it is in the water to help you know how long your baby has been in the bath. You can also personalize your preferred temperature settings for the flashing lights. Great value for the cost.

I think the ease of use of this topic really varies depending on what you’re getting out of it. I just wanted a simple thermometer that measures the temperature of the water in the bath tub before giving my child a bath. It does that. I like that it floats around in the bath tub and constantly updates what the temperature is like. But what I do not like is how quick the battery dies because I did not figure out how to turn it off. If I remember correctly, there was not an off button. I read the instructions, and there were also so many combos of buttons that gave different functions that honestly I just did not need and will not use. So if you don’t mind cha going the batteries, the duck works great and looks cute. It can prob be a toy too.

Highly recommend for parents or anyone taking care of kids. This item is used every time we do bath time the flashing green light or red light makes it an easy way to know if the way is to hit for babies / small children

This is very helpful for us to make sure we are setting the bath temp right for our little one. It's easy to ready and the battery seems to last while, we've had a different one of these for over a year and it was still going strong.

Must have, my favorite baby item, definitely add this to registries or just buy it. I got so much peace of mind over the bath temp being a new mom. I still use it 4 years later and am here now ordering my second! I bought this in 2021 - the battery ran out in 2025. I replaced the battery and it seems the whole duck has crapped out. Hoping I get another 4+ years out of the next one!

Great little thermometer. Bought for wild swimming. Its perfect as starts timer the second it hits the water and doesn't seem to have minimum temp

It shifts from F to C very often and changing it is annoying . The thermometer otherwise is good .

This is an excellent product. Was given as a present to my friend, who is a new mother so that she was able to check bath water temperature for her new born. She was really pleased to receive this as it’s hard to know the correct temperature, as we as adults have the water a lot hotter & even guessing to touch doesn’t tend to be correct. This lights up red when temperature is too hot & green when correct temperature is reached, also having a timer built in. Great value for money, quirky, & good quality

Bought this for a friend to take on sea and pond dooks. It gives accurate readings when compared with other thermometers and it looks cute.
