Great Filter - Great Company
iSpring did something special with this Spin Down filter. Its as close to "set-it-and-forget-it" that you can get in the world of aqua filtration.

Perfect for my well water application
My well water has sediment from time to time, this 200 micron screen is perfect for my application. I started with the 50 micron but it would clog rather quickly and was hard to clean completely. This screen being slightly more coarse catches what’s needed and water pressure remains great. Also the scheduled automatic back flush cleans it well without the need to remove and hand clean.

These work very well - Highly Recommend.
This filter does a great job removing suspended solids from my well water. It does clog with suspended clay particulates that don't backwash off; requiring a more thorough cleaning in the sink. But it does filter the water very well. Highly recommended as a pre-filter to your whole house filtration system.

Excellent Value
I really like the WSP50J spin down filter. I am buying this replacement filter as a spare 50as the unit is installed in the Philippines, and I just wanted to be same. However, the original filter shows no wear and is rated at a 2 year replacement cycle. the large size of the WSP is ideal for my setup pictured as I installed it at my mother-in-law's home in the Philippines where the only contaminants are sediments--this unit prolongs the life of the whole house filters pictured and means that she only has to have the filters changed every 3 to 6 months or longer if she forgets! The best thing about this unit is the customer service at Ispring--Nick who has helped me in the past has provided valuable suggestions and has answered all my questions, which in itself is a big 5-star rating in my book. I should note the installation is on a community well; hence the large ss break tank shown coupled with a Grunfus Scala 2 pump.
