Does this come with a power cable? If not, will a power cable for my boss pedals work?

It does not come with a power supply, it uses a 9v negative center power supply so a Boss unit should work

Can i use this pedal with a solid state amp?

Yes this pedal will work well with a solid state or valve amp.

Being analogue, would it work OK without an effects loop (digital ones won't work so well)?

At the end of your signal chain with your pedals before it, it would be ideal as delay generally works best this way, unless you want the delays to be distorted by your amp effects.

Hello. i own a boss dd2. is there anything that this pedal can do that the boss cant. i would appreciate your opinions

Carbon Copy is analogue and DD-2 is digital so they do sound different. Carbon Copy does some awesome regeneration type effects and is also good for slapback . Loads of people use it as an always on pedal. Also has a great modulation effect for the repeats to simulate tape degeneration. Funnily enough on That Pedal Show live Q&A this week one of the questions was from somebody who has a Carbon Copy and wanted another delay pedal to go with it. Dan & Mick recommended the DD-2.
