Delicious Kimbo , my all time favorite

Kimbo coffee beans were never really on my radar, but my son suggested them to me telling me it was a nice smooth cup with good crema, and he wasn't wrong. I'm usually a Lavazza buyer, maybe not for discerning coffee drinkers out there who want the very best, but I like it, so I buy it. But maybe it's time to expand my coffee bean buying taste buds and try other brands. The Kimbo beans have a lovely smooth delicate taste, not overly bitter, just right for my taste, maybe a little stronger roast would be better, as I do like that coffee flavour hit, but by no means are Kimbo weak. Overall I've enjoyed Kimbo beans, if have no hesitation buying them again.

We were introduced to this brand no our hoste whilst staying on Naples, enjoyed it so much I was straight on Amazon to purchase when we returned to the UK. Good depth of flavour without being bitter, produces a good crema

Very smooth blend of coffee, foil wrapped in bag

Great value for money. Big crema. Slightly bitter but that’s what you want sometimes. Blends nicely with your artisan coffee roast beans. Dependable stuff.

Makes a fabulous espresso. Despite the high robusta content it isn't a caffeine bomb. Grind fine and there is a delicious creamy body. Recommended.

Great value kilo bag of medium roast coffee. Perfect for my bean to cup and a great price compared to other brands. Delivers a smooth, rich and balanced coffee, great crema and not too strong or bitter. Great aroma

I've been buying this coffee for a few months now. I used to buy from a roaster local to my area, who produces excellent coffee; however, like lots of other people in the current climate, I had to tighten my purse strings and look for a cheaper alternative. These coffee beans produce an excellent crema and a really good flavour, although not as much body as my old coffee beans, if I'm honest. Given that they were priced at £13.45 a kilo (and I was paying £22 a kilo previously), I couldn't justify the extra spend and I have been more than happy with these beans since I switched. I jumped online to place an order really quickly this a.m. as I realised I was going to run out of beans. imminently! I've just logged in again to check my orders and I see these beans have had a huge price increase to £20.15 a kilo since I purchased them last. And, in fact, my last purchase was just a month ago. At these prices I won't be buying again. I might as well stick with my local roaster.

Ho scelto questi chicchi Kimbo Crema Extra perché cercavo una miscela che mi regalasse quell'aroma intenso e avvolgente tipico del vero espresso napoletano e devo dire che il risultato ha superato le aspettative dato che la crema che si forma sopra il caffè è densa e persistente proprio come piace a me inoltre la tostatura è equilibrata e non risulta mai troppo amara o bruciata ma lascia un retrogusto dolce e piacevole che ti invoglia subito a berne un altro e trovo che il formato da 1 kg in grani sia l'ideale per chi come me ama macinare il caffè al momento per preservarne tutta la freschezza e la fragranza che si sprigiona per tutta la cucina appena apri la confezione rendendo il momento della colazione o della pausa pomeridiana un vero rituale di piacere senza contare che il rapporto qualità prezzo per un caffè di questo livello è davvero ottimo e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti gli amanti del caffè corposo e vellutato che non vogliono scendere a compromessi sulla qualità.

I think it is supposed to be a medium roast but i have to say it is more of a dark roast. It lacks aroma and has a strong smell when grounded. It gives a nice cream on a double espresso but it tastes like old beans slightly molded. Maybe i ended up having a bad batch but i won't risk buying this brand again.

Sehr schöne, gleichmäßige Crema und ein angenehm runder Geschmack. Mit meiner Siebträgermaschine mit Thermoblock lässt sich der Kaffee problemlos zubereiten – die Temperatur passt schnell und konstant. Das Ergebnis ist ein aromatischer Espresso mit guter Balance, nicht zu bitter und nicht zu sauer. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Wert auf Geschmack legen.
