This is a bit lengthy for some possibly, I apologize. May 15 I ordered this collagen powder, my bag said 2 scoops but brand website and here (Amazon) in the description said 1 scoop, I started taking this May 16 ( I had other items in my cart that got me overnight delivery) I emailed asking what was the correct serving size (they emailed back almost three weeks later stating 1 SCOOP IS 1 SERVING) ok, so I’ve been taking one scoop every day (minus a special week during the month, ladies you get me) I upped to two servings. I as of today June 26 have 121G left. On the nutrition label it says it’s enough servings for 41 days at roughly 11G per rounded scoop (healthy rounded scoop on my end came out to 7G) there is more than 41 servings in this bag and it’s absolutely worth the price. I already have long hair (5 more inches and when I sit down I’ll be worried I’m sitting on it) I have spider silk thin strands of hair, I have less breaks in my hair, what strands have broken and were short are seemingly longer now, my skin has cleared up significantly and my nails seem less brittle now as well. I’m 35 and was rough on my body in my youth (I was a typical tomboy) worked construction 6 years as a painter and lugged around full 5gallon buckets of paint (1 gal of water weighs 8#) when I would wake up, shoulders, lower back, hips…. You would think I was part rice crispy treat… no more! I’m less stiff feeling and have less pops between my joints, working out I felt a difference as well in my shoulders as they didn’t become sore or ache like they used too. I was using another brand collagen before this one (that brand discontinued and thank god what a rip off) this one is my second brand/ company and I’m already tossing another bag into my cart. There is like zero taste to this (foam from coffee has a slight unflavored gelatin taste but it’s ‘watery’) blends beautifully into coffee or matcha, dissolves right into the hot liquids with no chunks, there is no smell to it. I stored it in the bag till it was too low and then transferred it into a Rubbermaid brilliance pantry container and that’s so much easier to scoop out of and less messy (I’m up before the rooster crows so sleep is still heavy in the eyes) with my math I have maybe 2 weeks left of this first bag which means there is closer to 60 servings rather than 41. This is absolutely the best powder both in contents and their amounts and weight for the PRICE! This is a deal truly! As with other supplements and vitamins you need to give at least 2-3 weeks maybe a little longer for your body to start responding and showing signs of improvement.

Protein peptides are used as a supplement to help build cartilage in joints, and grow strong fingernails. This product dissolves very easily, has a pleasant, but minimal aroma so it does not have much impact on the flavor of whatever it is added to. The pouch reseals reliably to keep the product dry. The cost per use is very reasonable.

Lots of collagen claims to be tasteless and odorless. My prior one was not, but this one is. It could dissolve a bit better but does OK. Good product and a good deal. Also, this has type 1,2,3,5,and 10 for the same price or less than collagen that only has type 1 & 3, which is what the first collagen I tried had. Type 2 collagen in particular is supposed to be primarily for joint health, so why not get a product that has it.

I bought this to replace the blue jug I bought at a big box store. It was my go-to brand. That was until I figured out the price of how much I was getting along with what collagen types were included. I decided I wanted more collagen types in what I was buying. Upon checking the prices, sales, weight, of all the collagens offered, I decided on this one. It ticked all my boxes. The price point and amount was a deal. A price I was willing to pay. (Who doesn’t love a sale?) The collagen is very fine so you need to be careful handling it as it can get all over. It blends very well in hot coffee. I use a frother and sprinkle it in so it doesn’t go in as a clump. It has no taste as far as I can tell. No aftertaste either. (I did not try it in a cold beverage nor did I taste it plain) I’m very happy with this brand as it includes all the types of collagen I was looking for at an acceptable price. As long as the price tag stays reasonable, I will purchase this again. One thing to note: it comes in a resealable plastic bag. I personally like the fact that it’s offered in this form as it’s reducing plastic waste but I personally reused a jug I had of my previous brand of collagen. It sits more stable on my counter and my cats cannot chew on the container as opposed to a bag. 😹😹 Just something to think about if this may be an issue for you.

This product is odorless, tasteless, and dissolves easily in coffee. It does not cause stomach problems and I have experienced reduced joint pain and improved skin. My nails are stronger but I have not experienced much hair growth. I have mild alopecia and it is too soon to tell if the product will reverse my hair loss. I will check again after 6 months but I am an one month in and so far so good.
