GIR: Get It Right Silicone Kitchen Spatula - Non-toxic Cooking Utensils for Nonstick Cookware, Cooking and Baking, Ultimate - 11IN - Red

This spatula was recommended to me, and I'm glad I took the advice. It has quickly become one of the most-used tools in my kitchen. The one-piece silicone design is sturdy, flexible where it needs to be, and makes it easy to scrape bowls, pans, and containers completely clean. It feels well made, is comfortable to hold, and cleans up easily. Sometimes the simplest kitchen tools end up being the most useful, and that's definitely the case here. I use this spatula all the time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality silicone spatula.

I need to write a review for these spatulas because these spatulas are the best and they have the best customer service, design, and function!! 1. Seamless spatula - No bumps or any edges for anything to get stuck on, other spatulas are missing this design!! I've run these through the dishwasher countless times with no problems. I have also microwaved them, I'm not sure if you should but sometimes I leave them in my candy melts and just zap them to get it going. Perfect. 2. Perfect firmness and flimsiness - I use these for making macarons (soft touch) and for making fried rice (stronger touch) and have no issues with their ability to do either job! 3. Premium Silicone - I've used this to make kimchi fried rice (stains lots of stuff but not these!!), stir kimchi mix, and all sorts of smelly, oily stuff. But I can run them through the dishwasher and have them come out spanking new with NO embedded smells, scents, or residue. If I can use the spatula for something oily and pungent and then turn around and use them for delicate egg whites for macarons, it's a winner in my book. 4. Durability - I've bought over 10 of these in all different shapes and sizes and have not had any problems! One time I gouged out a little piece of the spatula, I contacted GIR and they sent me out another the next day. I use the giant ones for cooking en masse for my youth kids at retreats. Nothing beats having a huge spatula to stir 8 quarts of curry! I use the 11" for my Kitchen Aid and everyday regular use. I found out about these guys from some blogs a few years ago and I appreciate their innovation and dedication to really Getting It Right, they get it right and deserve our support and patronage! :) This review was written of my own accord! I've noticed that other spatula companies give away their products for an "unbiased" review; that doesn't sit right with me. I bought these with my own money and I have put them through the ringer countless times and can honestly say they are amazing. I have used them for YEARS with no problems. I mention the other reviews on other spatulas because they just received them and probably didn't use them as extensively as I've used mine!! Please support GIR, I really enjoy their products and always look forward to their fresh innovations.

I have to admit, these spatula are incredibly well made. The moment I took them out of the package and held them in my hand, I wanted to gather every cheap spatula in my kitchen and throw them all away. The silicone feels premium, the handle is comfortable, and the overall build quality is immediately noticeable. The only thing that made me hesitate was the price. They're definitely expensive, and I almost deducted a star because of it. Then again, there are even more expensive spatulas from bigger brands that don't seem to offer anything significantly better. So I'll happily leave 5 stars and hope these will last me for many years.

This utensil has become essential to most of the things that I cook on a regular basis. It does well with the heat and makes maneuvering many things easy. An added plus is the vibrant color!

I use it for making high protein bread dough and it could be just a little bit more rigid at the tip. But it does the job much better than what I had, and would be even better for lighter bread dough or batters.

Already a big fan of OXO in the kitchen, considering the potent mix of value, durability and functionality. In particular I have found these heat resistant when you forget it on the edge of a pot, ergonomic and easy to clean. One big reason I dig these, is you can get that last little bit of sauce or liquid out of any pot bottom or side. Main reason I use them. Be careful around blades though, for example a blender. They can get cut pretty easy since they are soft silicon. Once that happens those nicks tend to grow larger

I was making caramel and melted my regular scraper. This one should hold up to higher heat. I like the fact that it is one piece so there are no places for food to get stuck. It is top rack dishwasher safe (although it has been fine in the lower rack for me as well ). The shape is good for scraping and it has a metal core which makes it sturdy, yet flexible.

It's hard to give a realistic review given I've had it for such a short period of time but so far it's working quite nicely, hasn't picked up any food smells so I'm comfortable using it for both cooking and baking, I've put it through the dishwasher a dozen times and haven't noticed any wear or tear, so far so good! edit: I've used these spatulas for almost exactly a year and I have nothing but positive things to say about them, great structure that hugs and scrapes the curves of fry pans, woks, and mixing bowls perfectly, very durable and virtually heat proof (no more melted handles!). I've now ordered 2 additional GIT 11-Inch in other colours and even still they're only ever found in the dishwasher because they're the first thing I reach for to make almost everything. The price is a big deterrent for me unfortunately so while I want (and arguably need) more it's hard to justify the price, worse is having someone ask for recommendations and trying to decide whether or not I want to recommend a $23 spatula when plenty of cheap (even if they are lower in quality) options more conveniently available to them, we all know at least a few people that are still highly wary of online shopping so I hope to see this awesome product just become more accessible.

I have been getting GIR Spatula many times. Like the seamless design so washing it is a breeze without having to get into those cracks and crevices like those spatulas with joints.

Strong and sturdy. Works really well for scraping thick batters without the spatula folding onto itself. Would recommend and repurchase
