We've been purchasing Lyons Coffee Bags for quite some time now and they are just as great tasting each time - Reasonable value for money. Filter Coffee in a Bag with less mess, no coffee machine to set up or other, just put the Coffee Bag straight into your cup, pour over hot water, leave Coffee Bag in till you get the strength you'd like and voila, perfect smooth tasting decaffeinated filter coffee with a wonderful aroma filtering through to enjoy at any time of the day. If you love filter coffee you may just love these!

Of all the bags I've tried, I find these the best tasting and best value. I don't like strong coffee so I get two infusions from one bag and the second tastes as fresh as the first. Very little sediment from both infusions. If you hold the sachet on the edge where the tear down arrow is on the back, shake it to move the bag away, then tear down gently, you'll avoid tearing the bag.

I really like the coffee in these, and it's fairly strong considering it's decaf. My only gripe is that the bags tend to split at the bottom when I try to squeeze the last bit of water out. Something that only seems to happen to the Lyons bags. Other than that they are perfectly good bags that, when buying in bulk (150) at a time, works out to 18 pence per cup, which is pretty good in my opinion.

I have bought this so many times before. Probably about two thousand a year. Great taste, good consistent quality. Stays fresh with 1.5 year best before date. Friends and family love it. Easy to use. No loss of flavour despite being decaffeinated. Much more convenient for every day use than a cafeteria.

Taste great. Packaging is compostable 👍 BUT: open them very carefully! We have lost so many bags because they’ve torn open as we’ve opened the sachet. I think perhaps the sachet needs to be a bit bigger so the risk of tearing the bag is reduced. We now give the bag a little shake after we opened it to make sure it’s still intact otherwise you end up with a cup full of coffee grounds. Great for traveling and, because they’re individually wrapped, you can pop some in your bag to take to friend’s or church coffee mornings and enjoy a lovely cuppa instead of whatever it is they serve. They do come loose in quite a large box so storing them may be an issue if you’re short on space.

Lyons Decaffeinated Coffee Bags Bulk Buy (150) - These were the last of the four different types available that I've now tried. For some reason caffeine doesn't seem to have much affect on me but I still worry about having too much so gave these a try. I like all of the other Lyons varies and usually get a couple of mugs of coffee from one bag, often allowing them to brew for a bit longer than the recommended 3-4 mins. Not sure it's available any longer but the deal I liked best was for 50 each of the other three other types in a variety pack. If you're not wanting a particularly strong coffee but like filter coffee then I'd happily recommend all of these including the decaf.

These are good coffee sachets, handy and with a reasonable amount of flavour for a decaf coffee. However, it’s disappointing to open sachets and find no coffee bag inside. I’ve had two with nothing in already and barely making my way through the box…

This decaf is the nicest I’ve tried so far. Have tried many, was using a well known brand instant Americano decaf but had these decaf bags in Greggs and liked the taste so much that I asked what brand they used and bought my own. Now I can have real tasting and even better, the proper decaf at home, yum. Even my son, a coffee snob and espresso drinker, liked this coffee (until he discovered it was decaf, doesn’t do decaf, doesn’t see the point) anyway, I love, Love, Love coffee but my body can’t take caffeine so these are perfect. Use two in a big mug for a really rich coffee, still really good value. Will definitely buy again.
