Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series - 25th Anniversary Special Edition [Blu-ray]

Great series. Received in good condition and as expected.

I watched this over a decade ago and loved it. As time went by I kinda forgot how good it was and decided to rewatch. It gets even better the older I get. Crazy...

An anime classic. This review won't be only about the show otherwise it'd be too long and won't tell you anything about the product itself. This set comes on five disks with the first 24 episodes across the first three disks with the last two disks being full of special features. The entire series is in full 1080p with English dub, or in the original Japanese with subtitles (English only). Each Blu-ray disk has some special features included, usually including an episode with commentary from one of the English voice actors, and an episode (usually different) with commentary from a Japanese VA. The only thing that this set doesn't include is the Cowboy Bebop movie which came out a couple years after the series ended.

Love this show

The video appears to sourced from a rescan from the original film elements and looks as great as you can imagine. There’s a tasteful layer of film grain left intact and the colors look perfect. The audio is from the “Remix” version which differs slightly from the original broadcast with a few sound effects missing or changed, and very slight alterations to some dialog lines. These changes appear to be artistically motivated and not errors or censorship. I’m mostly ambivalent about the changes and may even prefer some. But needs to be mentioned because it may be a dealbreaker for some. Not even going to say how great this show is, if you’re reading this you almost certainly know that already

giving this 5 stars. one of my favorite anime. just wanted to say mine came broken and I had to return it. A little annoyed with Amazon for making me pick it up and drop it off to be returned and then being unable to purchase it again because the sale was over and it was double the price. at least let me exchange it for the same price I paid for it. Amazon also seems to make it very difficult to leave any type of feedback for this situation or to get ahold of customer service through the site (I wanted to ask for an exchange)

Me pedí esta versión por ser la del aniversario. Está bien, aunque el papel del insert es muy barato y delgado y luce como si estuviera manchado el case del bluray. Las portadas intercambiables son una joya, se ven preciosas. No he tenido la oportunidad de reproducirlo, pero espero se vea bien.

No viene con audio en español. Pero esta genial. En una próxima edición incluyendo en audio latino les podría 5 estrellas. (Lo compraría de nuevo)
