GREAT PIECE OF KIT!
Oh Boy!!! This bit of kit is great!! As soon as it arrived, I put it to work. 2 long legged spiders, 2 flies, one honey bee, all safely sucked up and released outside within 10 mins! So glad I bought this as I've always felt guilty sucking up spiders etc with the house vaccuum , as they don't survive that. And if you happen to have a bit of a phobia about insects, I think this is a great piece of equipment for removal of those creepy-crawlies without stress. I noticed on the reviews that some people said it was not powerful enough. Don't understand that, as mine sucked up the offenders with no trouble!

Very effective.
Does what it says on the label! This is my second purchase, having had the previous one a number of years before it finally gave up the ghost. Its replacement is just as good. I wouldn’t be without it in the spring and autumn when our eight-legged friends make their appearance!

Not much suction but can catch spiders.
It did manage to help me catch a spider that otherwise would have been inaccessible, the length really helped catching the pictured spider (which was wedged in the corner of the ceiling) but the suction didn’t seem to have any effect and even just feeling with my hand I didn’t feel much power from the hoover. To catch the spider I had to get the tube around it and then jiggle it around until the spider fell in since the suction wasn’t strong enough, but I’ve only tried it once so far so maybe on a different type of spider it might be able to pull it into the tube. So it has proved useful, and I appreciate having a cap to seal the spider in until it can be released, but do get it bearing in mind the suction won’t help and it’s strength is to reach high places for smaller spiders.

Great spider catcher
Had one of these many years ago. Just replaced it. Great to catch spiders without touching them, then you can take them outside. Happy me. Happy spider. No cruelty in involved

Excellent..!
As other buyers...I read lots of reviews as wanted to make sure I was buying something that worked (to put my impending Autumn spider 🕷 influx fears at ease!!) and that it didn't hurt said creatures or any other crawlies..!! Well ..this bug vacuum catcher fits the bill..!! It's worked wonders so far..!! I've already popped out the same dozy wasp 6 times, along with 2 medium sized spiders and several flies..!! It's easy to put together (I have dexterity issues), and seems to be substantially made. The fact I can now easily reach to get to the top of the window to vacuum a fly or two..and was no effort to dislodge a spider sitting on top of the curtains...I think it's amazing..! Super pleased I bought it. Almost feel like Luke Skywalker when using it...!! You'll see what I mean if you buy one. The creepy culprits, with a little shake of the catcher...just find their way out the other end unharmed. The cap doesn't fit over the smaller nozzle, but I've found it fine to just hold it over, until you've got to a door or open window to release I highly recommend..and feel I can now sit back and enjoy Autumn 🍂

Great For Small Insects, Useless for Large spiders.
I’ve had this for about a month now and bought it mainly to deal with spiders in the house. Unfortunately, the suction is very weak and it doesn’t work at all on medium or large spiders. They just walk away like nothing’s happening. That said, it has been pretty handy for smaller insects. Flies, moths, and similar bugs can be caught and released without too much hassle, though you do need to get very close to them, almost right on top of them, for it to work. For £18 I expected it to be better at its main job, so it feels a bit overpriced.

Buy 2, never look back.
Assuming they'd be rubbish quality with poor battery life, I bought 2. It quickly became a household competition to catch the most bugs and add to your dry-erase tally on the fridge. To the Ghostbusters theme. Let's not pretend like you don't want a part of that. Anyway, the long clear tube consists of 2 interlocking sections, which give you about a metre or 3 feet or so. But if you have 2 units you can extend this out to tall ceilings. So you have a small, handy short unit and a long pokey one. Construction wise, it's a bit crap. (If you orient the battery compartment lid wrong you lose a bit of suction) And a blow function would be great (literally it would've added pennies as the motor can easily spin both ways and it's 2 extra small pieces of wire on a double switch ). It doesn't *feel* terribly powerful, but it does a grand job. -All that time you spend messing about trying to catch that moth without squishing it into the plaster... -All that time you spend trying to get that annoying little fly... -That spider that you don't quite want to squish... -That bug in the weird corner... Piece of fluff or bug? P.s. easy way to empty them: Upturn it over something sticky.. tap the side... flush.

gets the job done
I had an outbreak of fungus gnats in my potted plants. Whilst I was figuring out a solution for fixing the soil, this gizmo was an absolute lifesaver. I could grab ten little flies in one go and remove them. For some reason, the battery compartment won't close when the battery is in so I had to tape it together, it's not the sturdiest thing ever but for what I paid I'm very happy with it. Haven't tried it on bigger bugs but for what I needed, it's awesome. The gnats fear to speak its name.

Ok
Fa quello che promette. Discreta potenza.

Damit unbrauchbar.
