I bought the LadderMat Anti-Slip Mats to make ladder work around the house and garden safer, and I’m genuinely impressed by how much confidence they add. If you regularly use a ladder on uneven ground or slightly slippery surfaces, these mats are an essential addition to your toolkit. The build quality is excellent — four thick rubber mats that feel extremely durable and heavy-duty. The material is solid but still flexible enough to conform slightly to the surface beneath, helping to create a stable base even on uneven ground like gravel, grass, or sloping driveways. The main idea is brilliantly simple: you stack the mats as needed to compensate for unevenness. For example, if one leg of the ladder needs to be lifted by an inch or two to level the setup, you can simply add more mats under that side. It’s incredibly quick and intuitive. The grip is fantastic. The rubber surface grabs both the ground and the ladder feet very securely — no slipping, sliding, or wobbling, even when putting full weight on the ladder. I used them while cleaning gutters and trimming hedges, and the extra stability made a huge difference in confidence and safety. Another plus is the versatility. You can use the mats individually on slippery indoor surfaces like tiles or laminate, or combine them for outdoor use on uneven patios or lawns. They’re also light enough to easily carry in a tool bag or strap onto a ladder. If I had to make a small suggestion, it would be to include a storage bag or strap to keep them together when not in use — but that's a very minor point. I wish I had known about these years ago. The driveway around my house slopes so trying to use a ladder before to paint it, wash windows, change outdoors light fittings was really precarious and frankly dangerous, so much so that many of the jobs that needed doing over the years have been left undone. But, no longer, this product really does work superbly. It's very grippy and provides a secure levelling up for my ladder, meaning I can now use it all around the house in confidence. Highly recommended

Everybody's circumstances are different, but for me the product worked very well, securing an upright ladder on uneven ground in a garden of cracked and broken concrete pieces and small patches of foliage. I am considering buying a second to stabilise both sides of a step-ladder. Despite essentially being four rubber mats with tread, the product is good value for money, providing confidence and safety while working outside. Highly recommended.

I used the Laddermat for the first time over the weekend to paint some windowsills and was impressed and reassured. I used it on both grass and hard standing and found them to be very stable even though some of the areas I used my ladder are on quite an angle. Although I would say it is expensive for 4 pieces of rubber it's money worth spending if it stops my ladder collapsing and me injuring myself. I would certainly recommend.

I had been using a wooden garden seat to stop ladder slippage when working at 1st floor gutter level to clear gutters at home - very heavy to move the sea and probably only of psychological comfort. I am an older lady. These new rubber things are game changers. I was just about for the 3 day using them and even on the hardest to reach edge where I could never get the ladder safe to use they worked. Just about none of my ground is level or it never feels like much so these are very useful. I am also very careful too, even with them, to be sure everything is 100% steady (my grandfather died at Sir John Priestman's shipyard at work in 1930 when my mother was a tiny baby as he fell from a height at work in an industrial accident, so I certainly know ladders can equal death).

Simple mais terriblement pratique. Les picots s'emboitent les uns dans les autres et permettent de compenser un terrain irrégulier. Sur une pelouse, ça offre une très grande sécurisation. Le fait d'en avoir 4 permet des arrangement 3-1

Kann man super unter die Leiter legen. Auch mehrere ist kein Problem. Ist auch nicht zu sperrig sodass man es auch holt wenn man es braucht.

More safety is more better! More convenient to use than those bulky ones for soft floors; but also works with uneven grounds!!!

We have areas around the house that have landscape rock and wood bark chips. In the past if I put a ladder on them it would shift. When I put these down under the ladder's legs it doesn't move. Highly recommended
