Exactly what I needed! My barbecue cover ripped along the seam and this kit was way less expensive than replacing the total barbecue cover which would’ve cost me over $100. Very pleased and heavy duty needles and thread. I definitely approve this product.

The thread is great. It's very strong and good quality. I deducted one star because there's one needle you're simply not getting this thread into. the eye of the needle is just to small for the thickness of the thread.

I needed some heavy-duty thread and needles to sew up holes in a canvas softball carrying bag someone gave to us. (Then I donate it to whoever needs one on the softball team). My regular sewing needle snapped (hand sewing). The needles in this kit are heavier / thicker made so they held up well. Because I'm often sewing up holes on a seam, the curved needles worked extremely well. I also used needle nose pliers to pull the needle through - so much easier on my fingers. The thread held up well and should make the repairs hold up for some time. Black color matched the canvas material of the bag. Would definitely recommend for hand sewing projects on thick material.

It's much cheaper to repair small leather and vinyl items with this, than to buy new ones. Each repair costs only a few pennies, literally. I don't like to throw things out and buy new ones, when with a few minutes of effort you can fix your phone pouch, or shoes, or bag, etc.
