VEGA is still one of the best Protein powders, and not chalky. However I don't care much for their current flavors. They used to have one with the faintest of grapefruit/vanilla flavors that was a rock star. Still, good quality, decent value and taste. Vegan and easy to incorporate into shakes.

If protein powders had personalities, Vega Original Essential Protein in Creamy Vanilla would be that cheerful friend who convinces you to start your morning on the right foot. This stuff has become my go-to for quick smoothies and post-workout shakes. The flavor is creamy, lightly sweet vanilla that doesn’t taste like melted birthday candles (a rare win in the protein world). It blends surprisingly well, whether you’re shaking it up in a bottle or tossing it in a smoothie. Highly recommend this quality product that has a smooth texture and superior digestibility. Bonus points for being vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and dairy-free, so it plays nice with just about everyone. Can also support weight loss.

It’s chalky. Not unbearably, but even blending it was chalky. I used almond milk and could never get rid of the chalky texture. I got the vanilla flavor, it smelled like pumpkin but tasted like vanilla. Initially, I thought I got pumpkin spice instead of vanilla, it was intense. It’s protein powder, it did its job. I felt full after having it for a good bit, like I had a good snack. It didn’t upset my lactose intolerant stomach. I’d buy again, but I’m still hunting for a powder that isn’t chalky so it wouldn’t be my long term protein powder unless they can get rid of the chalky texture.

I love this protein powder so much! I have a lot of food sensitivities and couldn’t find a protein powder that didn’t irritate my stomach. This plant based formula is so simple and has just a few ingredients with the protein coming from peas, and it has a wonderful taste compared to other brands. It keeps me full as a snack or I pair it with my coffee in the morning as a quick breakfast. Only downside is they only have two flavors for this specific product, but with chocolate and vanilla it is very versatile.

This particular vanilla Vega protein is not good. It tastes very grainy and thick. Ive tried a brand called Levels and its way better but it is more expensive. I like smooth good tasting protein powder. This stuff isnt smooth at all. Wont buy again. Generally the more expensive proteins are way better but you have to wait till theres a sale or something to get them. I would NOT recommend this protein at all.

I worked for FedEx as a Package Handler. Woman(25) 110ibs 5”2 at that time. Was really skinny from the job but wasn’t getting the muscles I wanted and needed to regulate my body to really be able to lift and not feel fatigued so often. Worked 8-12 hours, body really tired by the end of final shift. Stretch before and after every shift. Will do wonders. Have a good amount of sleep and stay hydrated, especially in the summer. Drank at least 3-10 water bottles, 10 on a good day. Stay hydrated. Will this hydrate you? Not enough. I don’t bring this big lug with me. I take a bottle right before work starts. And then when I get home, I make another one of these drinks to drink then stretch and knockout. After almost a whole year of this consistency, I gained 20-30ibs. Literally built on muscles but still looking tiny. Work felt easier but dehydration still hard to beat. Easy to digest, lots of clumping but I try my best to stir it super good and drink it while it’s broken down and mixed. Tastes like oats or a hard baby Enfamil. Just because you drink this, you must also fill your tummy on other proteins and vitamins. Don’t make this your only meal. It don’t work like that.

I have tried other plant protein powders, but this is by far the worst-tasting. However, it does its job; I had no stomach issues or clumping while dissolving. I had decent muscle recovery and energy.

Yo feliz con esta proteína. Me agradan los sabores veganos. Sin embargo hay quienes prefieren la proteína de suero de leche. Es tema de gustos y paladares.
