Easy to use - but be careful of that output voltage
Purchased for use in an experiment with tubes, and to do some quick testing on cold-cathode spectrum analyzer tubes. Good for a quick test and perhaps light-duty use, but if you're going to do a lot of high voltage experiments you may want something a bit beefier. But this is certainly adequate for experiments and could probably work well with image intensifier or other tubes for reasonably long periods of time. The output pins are a bit close for 1,000 volts - be sure your wires are trimmed and twisted to avoid sparks or shorts.

Zero voltage out.
Tried two of these, neither produced an output voltage. Ended up using an 1800v arc pulse board which worked well.

Works as described but role noise at higher voltages
It works as described and I measured the input and output and I was able to achieve the specified output. It is however pretty โnoisyโ at the higher voltages when there is any kind of load. I put a 1000V 10nF capacitor on the output and that helped clean up the ripple considerably

Worked well and was stable with 3V input
A great product, and easy to use as a novice electrical engineer. I used it by inputting 3V from a battery/power source, and was able to get up to 415V out with great stability.

Actually works
I used this to charge some capacitors for a railgun project and it works as described, was able to output 400v no problem.

Worked for a while
Worked mostly fine for a bit less than a month, then the 555 timer on it died.
