Do these work for small sensitive ear canals for women who get pain from normal sized foam ear plugs and need a slim fit?

Wish I could help more! I don't actually know, but what I do know is I have worn both types, and this type is definitely smaller, as they are cone shaped. So they narrow at one end, and it's the narrow end that enters your ear first. This part is smaller than the normal foam type earplugs. I would say the Alpine earplugs are also softer, which will be better for you. I think I would give them a try, as they are brilliant! Also, I didn't realise until recently that they actually have a shelf life of a few months, but I've been using mine for 2 years without any issues! Well worth the money.

Are these shorter and softer than the sleepsoft earplugs, which I find uncomfortable when sleeping on my side, because they stick out too far?

I’ve never used the ones you are describing but these fit quite comfortably in my ears aslong as you pull the ear at the top a bit before inserting them then press them in into the ear canal i don’t t find them uncomfortable when lying on the ear with them in

I have bought these but have been told I have small ear canals - I haven’t opened them yet in case they don’t fit and I have to return them.

They are rubbish send them back.
