I don't regret buying this drum one bit.

Great drum! But the bag...!!!!!
The drum itself is great! Very pretty and a great instrument however the bag it came in is awful! The zipper is broken (doesn't unzip) and it seems like the person who was even putting the drum in the bag was struggling as the top is ripped off! Was planning to give this as a gift but definitely will have to go get a new bag first!

Nice finish and sounds great. I have been playing congas, djembes, bongos for about 20 years and this is my first doumbek. Sound is tight and adaptive. Feels like playing with a snare drum without springs. Super tight and expressive. Easy to use as well. The aluminum is varnished so all surfaces are smooth.

As a drum its really nice, but similar to almost all Amazon deliveries, the item is not brand new! There are marks of hands and fingers and it is used! You can't trust merchants selling online, through Amazon, cause Amazon doesn't check the items! Such items should only be bought from the store and checked visually well before picking it up!

I don't normally purchase instruments sight-unseen or without trying them. When I have done so in the past, they were either poorly made, cheap sounding, or broke within a month or two of regular use. No so with this drum. It has become a favourite. Nice and light, pretty to look at, and sounds great! Best of all is the value for the price. Sometimes it's not a good idea to sacrifice quality for low cost, but I've had this drum a while now and use it regularly. It has yet to disappoint.
