5 In 1 Essence Primer + Finish Powder

This product has taken me on a journey! I hated it at first - it clung to dry spots and looked so dry overall. But i kept trying it. I made sure i moisturized well and let my foundation really set/dry down before going in lightly just around my eyes, between my eyebrows, around my nose and smile lines, and on my chin. It sets my foundation, prevents creasing thru-out the day, and blurs my large pores. Haven’t tried it as a primer, i know of that technique for oily skin (Jackie Aina) but my skin is very combo. I prefer this powder to any other i own.

i didn’t know what to expect when i ordered this because there’s a lot of bad powders out there but i decided to try it because i’ve been impressed with a few other recent wet n wild purchase and it HAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I am very impressed with its light, silky feel on the skin and its versatility! Plus it’s not chalky or drying. I have oily skin & it sits nicely on top of my foundation & cream products without creating any weird patches. really awesome everyday kind of powder to keep in your collection. Wet & wild has been killing it with these killer new drops at these prices!!!

Do you have extremely pale skin, hate wearing makeup everyday but have a lot of redness? Are you over 50 just looking for something sherr to quickly swipe on to faintly even out your skin tone? Well do I have an infomercial of a review for you!Just kidding. Seriously though...this stuff is amazing if you fall into those categories. I imagine younger pale skin would look perfect. I wear it alone or under powder foundation. I apply both with a light hand and a fluffy Kabuki. The perfect makeup for my natural looking tastes. I have fine lines, deeper smile lines, redness, and dry skin. I also have freckles that are getting darker now that I no longer take an autoimmune medication that lightened them considerably. Freckled will show through if using it lightly, as will the redness/pink of skin, but that's what makes us pale people have dimension and life in our faces.I haven't went heavy handed nor used a dense Kabuki or sponge with it. I think that would likely cause it to show up a lot more, just like some of the powder foundations. I have multiple powder and mineral foundations because they're my choice foundation. For an inexpensive combo that'd perfect your skin a bit more, but get you made up in 5: this, Elf Camo powder foundation, Wet n Wild Halo powder, and a finishing spray of choice. I like Milani dewy or Catrice dewy. Skin perfection...but use a light hand. Especially with this and the Elf. Us pale ladies look like we're wearing masks much easier than other skin tones.Happy powdering!

This is by far the best finishing powder I have ever used. It blends into my skin perfectly. I usually have to use a cotton ball to get the excess off, not with this. Works great for getting rid of the shine. It's not drying on my skin at all, also it doesn't settle in my wrinkles. Plus added bonus, such a reasonable price.

Y'all, if you know Georgia, you know the humidity can make you feel like you're wading through a swamp. As someone with um... (older) crepey skin that’s given up on most powders because they emphasize lines, I didn’t have high hopes for Wet n Wild's 5 In 1 Essence Primer + Finish Powder. But, yay, was I wrong!This tackled my shiny skin and tamed my large pores. I’ve got the best of both worlds (or worst, depending on how you look at it): 50-year-old skin with teenage-level oiliness. This stuff did wonders under my tinted moisturizer and light foundation.It's a breeze to get ready for work now—just a quick application and I’m good to go, and I'm pretty much oil-free until I leave work. And the best part? It controls the shine without settling into lines. If you’re battling the Georgia humidity or just need a no-fuss, all-in-one primer and powder, this one’s a game-changer!

I'll admit that this was an impulse purchase because TNBC. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product. It truly does blend well into your skin both before and after applying makeup -- it softens and evens out your skin tone without leaving you looking pale as a ghost. ;) Definitely recommend giving this product a try!

Ummm, wow. This isn't a setting power. If you used this all over your face, you'd look EXTREMELY sparkly, and not in a good way. This is a HIGHLIGHTER, and should be used as such.The puff that comes with it is super cute, and it's soft and fluffy. I really like that. To me, $10.00 is a little expensive for this item. It's just a power highlighter, NOT A SETTING POWER!!!!!Hope this helps!
