This straigtner fried my hair so bad i had to get it cut ! Company will not respond . Can you help me?

Have you all checked out lange's bbb complaints? there are so many horror stories, from damaging hair to extremely poor customer service! buyer beware

I am dealing with this now. I received a defective straightener and asked they send me a replacement for an exchange. They first asked me to send a picture or video... the straightener does not heat up so I sent a picture. Now they are asking me to cut the cord for "safety" reasons and send another picture. I started reading BBB... they have a history of delaying returns until the 21days run out and asking customers to pay shipping for a replacement! While I have been happy with my wand and brush straightener I am highly concerned with their delayed practices. Before I cut the cord I have asked for a specific plan as to how I am to receive my exchange. This is the only company that has asked for this... usually your receive a replacement and return the damaged item within a certain amount of time or have to pay for both.
