I was needing to protect the hallway carpet while getting skirting and about 16,754 doorways painted...this stuff worked a treat! Who knew 'sellotaping' yer carpet could be so much fun! Would definitely recommend having two people to apply it, imagine you were trying to lay out cling film...only it's sticky! Easy enough to place and move position before fully pressing into place. Had it laid down for a few days, zero issues when I pulled it up, the carpet is pretty old and well trodden but it gave it a bit of a 'fluff up' when removing the film. Thickness of the film was great, double it up in places just because I had enough left. Painter was delighted when he saw it, no phaffing about with dust sheets!

Did the job. Protected the carpet while I had work done. No dirty tracking from boots. Pleased. Sticks well. Good value.

Would have been a 5 star review but the smell from the plastic wasn’t very nice and I’m not moaning for the sake of it. Top tip use in a well ventilated area to reduce the odour Very easy to use, easy removal and no residue as we only had it down for 24 hrs

I put this down throughout the downstairs as my daughter had a party at home It really saved the floors When everyone left , I just peeled back and disposed of leaving a clean undamaged floor Trust me it works wonders and well worth the money 👍🏻

Have used this before and found it reasonably easy to put down, providing you get organised first. I used the plastic style cutting boards (one small size, and the largest size) and a scalpel cutter. It makes it easy, because you can provide full pressure with the largest one, kneeling on it, and the smaller one is used to extend the length by pushing forward as it touches the carpet and keeps it flat. Keep moving both cutting boards as you move forward extending the strip as you go. This fits well and does the job, if you have an incontinent nappy clad dog and sometimes wants to be close to where you sleep and settles outside your bedroom door at night. It keeps her warm to lay on and your carpets stay clean and dry. I have been using this system for over a year and 100%, successful. You can remove surface dust with a vacuum, providing you can adjust your suction and height of the vacuum head. l have tried an alternative that was printed on the roll with advertising, which was not entirely clear in the product details. But having seen the result, scrapped it immediately. This one I have used previously, and had it in use for a year (more than one change as directed in the instructions) and would recommend it. The dog is happy as well.
