You will need a special plug socket for that type of plug.

Are these ngk R6 will they fit my bmw 318i 2009 e90

They're the ONLY plugs suitable for BMW N43/N53 engines (which I believe is what you should have given the details of your motor). R6 are NOT suitable. (Beware that some suppliers have wrongly catalogued plugs!)
