Purchased for my elderly mother who has had Chichi dogs as long as I could remember. She wanted a stuffed animal that talked or sang. This one plays La Bamba and shakes the maraca's. It's too cute, I cannot wait to see her response on Christmas Day! it is pretty loud, the value is average, not sure about battery life yet, fun to play with and watch.

I purchased 5 different of these singing toys... and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them all. Oh boy. This guy is ADORBS! You can move his arms out a bit and his maracas really work! He shakes his arms and his mouth moves. The sound is terrific. He comes loaded with batteries with on/off toggle. If you press his foot he starts, press again he stops... press again and he starts from the beginning. Measurements given are accurate. He's SUPER soft. He always produces a smile, so if you're needing a few smiles, you won't be disappointed! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Absolutely love it! Works great. Sometimes the maraca in his left hand will get slightly hung up but that’s usually after people handle him. When placed on a firm surface he works fine. Good sound and mouth movements to the song. Watch attached video

Hi! Bought this for my husband's 80th birthday, ,Its a darling doggie with 2 maracas and playing the La Bamba song. It is a positive life-giving song with pep and zest. I even got him to get up and dance with me to the music! It added a happy note to his birthday! Thank you! I love this plush company!!!

My grand daughter loved it

I got this as a present for my FIL. From watching the videos, it looked so neat and I was so excited to get it! When I got it, it seemed bigger in person, it's a great size. The only thing was that the arms hardly moved, so I was really disappointed. I looked more into the reviews to see if I was the only one and noticed a lot of others have had the same problem. I played around with it to see if I could get the arms to work. I noticed if I gently shaked it and turned it upside down then pressed the foot to sing, the arms would kinda start to move more. I also manually moved the arms back and forth. It seemed like this dog just needed a massage after being stuck in a box. I kept doing that and within an hour, eventually the arms started to move great on their own. Now the dog works great. Just thought I'd share that tip for anyone else who gets it and the arms don't move. So don't give up if it doesn't work at first, may eventually work for you too.
