Perfect Hybrid
I've been doing photography since 1991. Started on a pentax, moved to a Canon. For video I use Blackmagic Cameras. I still use my Blackmagic but moved to the L Mount on Lumix. It does an amazing o woth taking stills and is a beast at doing pro video. I especially love the advanced auto-focus features. it's greta for recording yourself for YouTube sicne you can swing the monitor out to see yourself.

As a wedding photographer, I love it
I purchased this camera back in May 2025. I wanted something within the l-mount series and fell in love with Panasonic’s line. I’ve shot about 10 weddings and 3 engagement session with it. With it being super light weight, wedding days have felt so much easier on the wrist. Battery life is great, ~3-4 hours on each battery with constant use. It’s small, in a good way, and functions exactly how I need it to. It feels durable. Super beginner and pro friendly. I recommend the 35mm 1.8 from the Lumix line.

Amazing camera
I bought this for myself as a BD present, after using a Canon R50 for one year and a half. It is a bit heavy (using the 24-60 F2.8 from Lumix), but the image quality is 10/10. I have been using it for 4 days, and I love it.

Thank you Lumix S5II
I got my S5II two years ago as my first real camera. I had tried a few Fujis before, but the S5II just felt different. With it, I learned everything—photography techniques, flash, and more. It got me through my first gigs, and now I capture beautiful portraits with it. Sure, it’s not a perfect camera, but it’s more than ideal for the job—especially at this price. Thank you, Lumix!

A Bit big
Almost perfect if you don't mind the large size, excellent ISO and video performance, although I'm 95%+ stills photographer, so that's not very relevant for me. The size is also substantial and the resolution 24 megapixels is neither low nor high, so I switched to Fujifilm x-t5 with it's 40 megapixel (I use prime lenses instead of the excellent 24-105 Panasonic zoom) aps-c and I love it! This camera also would be great with prime lenses like the Sigma Art (only available for full frame cameras like this Panasonic and others), they cost about the same price as Fuji's premium f 1.4, but they weigh more so all together the full frame system weighs much more, isn't any cheaper and isn't high resolution, and like Fujifilm also doesn't have shutter flaps that close to protect the sensor when off, but at least the food you feel has ultrasonic sensor cleaning when you turn off the camera. While this camera will work perfectly for some people for a still photographer like myself it is not the best option even though it cost less than the competition, but its weight and it falls short of perfect for a stills photographer because of its focus on video, basically.

Very good camera
my beloved camera, great for almost everything that i need, i'm mostly wedding videographer and i think that is the best camera that i had, i don't really use 60fps so it's not important for me the crop factor.

An great, all in one, hybrid full frame camera. Excellent build quality and really comfortable to hold. I don't have anything negative to say about the camera. It does everything well - great pictures and fantastic video. Lots of flexibitliy with video, although I mainly shoot photos. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best camera for the price currently on the market. Only downside is cropped 4k 60fps but that's expected at this price point. The dual native iso produces NO noise in the shadows and the image can be pushed super far in post with restoring highlights and boosting up shadows. Blown away at the versatility of the image and the dynamic range. If you have a GH5 or GH6 this is the worthwhile upgrade to full frame. Zero issues with this camera and I'll be using it for many years to come as my A-cam on all commercial productions.
