The Roundabout

Bit disappointed with this installment. Big fan of Gerri's books but the blackmailing part to this story was poorly done. Threatening someone with naked pictures of them...pictures that were taken against the persons will while they were intoxicated is unacceptable. Just made the story unbelievable because in the real world, that wouldn't happen and if it did, Mary Beth would have been arrested.Enjoyed the story between the 2 main characters though. Just about to start "The Neighbour" now.

Sorry to say that I agree wholeheartedly with the first reviewer. The blackmail, and that is what is it is, should have been dealt with in a much more definite way way with the people around the abused character standing up for her, not making light of it and actually making it worse. For the Blackmailer then to have a happy ending with her own new found love - sorry, this story line did not sit well with me. In fact I found myself feeling very angry at the way the sister, in particular, was so unsupportive. If that had been my sister I would have been threatening all sorts, not getting cosy with the person doing it - and who would ever want to get involved with someone who thinks these actions are acceptable? It's like saying revenge porn is perfectly acceptable.Such a shame because I am an avid fan of Gerri's. but this one was just wrong.

If you look at the other reviews several were annoyed with the bully/ blackmailer. I totally agree with that as this woman should have been dealt with. It also shows the power of social media in a very negative light. However the main 2 character's story was a nice one with their happy ending. There was a bit of a twist with other characters though.

Another solid read from Gerri Hill - its not my favourite but it was enjoyable enough, she always delivers.

Love all of Gerri Hill's book and this is just another excellent addition to her library. Well put together, believable and relatable characters. Enticing story line. I found myself laughing along on many occasions.

I very much enjoyed this book I had difficulty taking breaks , this is the first book I have read by this author, but it won't bethe last!

Another fantastic read from Gerri Hill, it was funny from the start and had me laughing all the way through. I hope there is a follow up
