Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Shampoo

I've been using this shampoo for well over 18 months now after my previous favourite (Burts Bees Shampoo and Wash) was leaving my hair too difficult to comb through immediately after towel drying. This is the best shampoo I can find for my fine, grease-prone, shoulder length hair. It lathers beautifully, cleans well and has only a mild, innocuous scent. I find it perfectly economical as less is needed than with a cheaper shampoo and I tend to buy the bigger container (with a pump). Don't be put off by the name of this shampoo; it does not have any blue or violet tones that shampoos specifically for blondes usually have. The reason it's called Forever Blonde is because it's a relatively mild shampoo without SLS and it claims to maintain colour by that virtue. I don't have blond hair. I'd recommend this shampoo. I'm so happy to have found it. NB I only buy if both 'sold by' and 'dispatched by' Amazon apply.

Love this shampoo. Great for my long, chemically processed hair. Really good salon quality product…A little really does go a long way, so I advise you to start out with a small amount first.

love this shampoo. My hairdressers use this, so in an attempt to get the same results as them I'm now using this. A little goes a long way, I have short hair and only need a pea size amount. Smells lovely, lathers well, cleans my hair gently. Really good value as you only need a tiny amount.

After going to a new hairdressers they recommended that I use this on my highlighted hair, first time I used it my hair felt so good. Definitely will be buying the conditioner to go with it!

I have fine, thin hair that gets greasy very quickly. Recently I had highlights added in, so I wanted to buy a shampoo and conditioner that would keep my blonde streaks as blonde as possible, but would also care for my hair. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner is very heavy and strong, I didn't like it. The shampoo is ok, lathers fairy well, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good for my hair. Part of the hair which had been treated with highlights felt very dry and brittle after using this shampoo (and conditioner). It also dried out part of my hair that hadn't been treated. I didn't see it making any difference to my blond streaks either. I am usually trying not to waste anything and if I try product that I don't really like that much, I will still normally finish it, but this one I threw out after one week of use (I wash my hair daily as it get's very oily). I have since replaced it with different brand products and my hair is lovely and soft again and no breakage. May work for other people, but not for me.

This shampoo is great. Love it and have been using it for years. First time (and last) that I ordered it from Amazon. Shampoo leaked all over the bag it was put in. So less product to begin with. I’d rather pay £2 more and have an unopened full size product from the hairdresser. Update: I’ve since reordered and it was okay.

Cannot find in stores anymore, so was happy to get my hands on this, definitely will buy more!
