Can I use this on roller blinds without washing off?

Hi i can’t answer this. However my daughter had some queries about dying fabrics for her uni project which had an urgent deadline. I contacted RIT directly for urgent help and they responded the same day and were amazing.

You can! I have! But bear in mind it won’t stick very well. Did our carpets two months ago and the colour is coming up and is now patchy, I’d recommend finding something that lasts longer. We are going to have to re do ours x

Would this work to spot dye a bleach stain on a carpet?

As you have to heat it to work then no it wont work on carpet. If its any help I fixed a bleach mark on a bright blue carpet with alcohol ink and it worked well. It was also easy to blend to get just the right colour.

Do you have to use this in the washing machine or can you hand wash items in it? I want to dye cotton curtains a light grey.

I use it to Dye Jackets by Hand Wash, works fine, there are tutorial videos on the RIT Youtube page

Works really well

I absolutely love this. I soaked a white teddy bear skin in cold water with salt for a couple of hours and hey presto… it worked out really well. I love the colour and would definitely use again

Easy to use, loved the result

Love this product, easy to use dyed basket liners in very little time, easy to follow instructions end product looks as I bought them this colour. Make sure you buy the correct dye for fabric there is one for cotton and one for synthetic fabric, mine was cotton canvas, amazing result. I will use again

So it's not grey...

Followed the instructions and my white pillow cases came out purple 😂 a bit bummed with the colour but other than that there's no splotches

Is definitely “Pearly”

As the name suggests, it has more of a BLUEISH tint than the color on the bottle . . . at least on white clothes and using only a 1/2 bottle. Though it was unexpected by me (I did zero research), I liked so much that I dyed stuff I hadn’t intended to do. 👍
