My partner put boiling water in and it broke the seal at the bottom of the tank so don't use boiling water just warm water

How do you empty/rinse clean the tank after use?

bit awkward to empty but I just turned it upside down to empty from the filler hole, rinsed with water and left it upside down outside for a while to dry. Pleased with the cleaning of rug, bit of effort but actually cleaned better than my sons electric one.
