Halo DPJ92 Dual Mode Warthog Playset

We started to build this with our grandson today. Constructing the figures was so difficult. My husband needed nut crackers to assemble them. Grandson gave up. As yet we are not sure if we have all the pieces. Not impressed

Sehr schönes Set. Mein erstes von Mega Bloks/Construx. Mir hat der Aufbau der Anleitung sehr gut gefallen, die Farben in selbiger könnten etwas deutlicher sein. Wenn man aber weiß welche Farben gemeint sind, läuft es wie von alleine. Das ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Klemmkraft ist Top, die Farben der Steine ist genial. Da finde ich, sollten die Dänen mal Gas geben. Mattel hat hier ordentliche Arbeit geleistet. Die müssen sich nicht von Lego verstecken, im Gegenteil. Es gibt hier Steine, die es bei den Lego-Herstellern nie geben wird. Das ist sind die Pros an Mega Bloks/Construx, bei denen sie Lego definitiv voraus sind: Farben und Vielfalt an Steinen. Also kurzum, top Qualität, top Farben und intuitive Anleitung. Für Fans von Klemmbausteinen und Videospiele (hier Halo) unbedingt zuschlagen und mal was anderes wie Lego probieren. Ich ziehe Mega Bloks/Construx sogar den Dänen vor. Schade, dass der Vertrieb hier sehr Mangelhaft ist und dadurch relativ teuer verkauft wird.

Arrivato nei tempi. Mega Bloks con questo generi di soggetti, sopperisce a quanto manca a Lego. Mio figlio è entusiasta delle costruzioni appassionatosi anche a questo genere. Il risultato finito è favoloso, compresa la "giocabilità" . Non particolarmente impegnativo anche se le istruzioni per come sono strutturate non sono semplici: non sempre è comprensibile il colore del pezzo da montare e l'apertura delle buste con i pezzi, non prevedono step (1-2-3 etc) ma vanno aperte tutte insieme, derivandone un pò di confusione quando il montaggio prevede tanti pezzi. Comunque nel complesso molto soddisfatto.

PROS: Extra armor, lots of customization options for the warthog vehicle. It has side rails that can be lowered and raised (or removed if you don't like them) which adds some LONG-NEEDED security for the driver and passenger. The front bumper system looks like it could take a serious beating in a mega-construx demo derby (haven't tried that yet). A clear improvement on previous renditions. The Spartans have a wasp/hornet emblem on one shoulder pad. New fireteam? Or maybe they're an isolated 2-person team (one male Warmaster armor, one female Hermes armor). It also comes with a matte black hydra launcher which is kinda uncommon, not many sets have solid black ones. Both turrets are fun. I use the rockets because they're different from anything else, but the gauss works fine too. The underside, however... that got me going. It has PIPES. Like, an exhaust system or something intricate yet functional like that... and a tow hook with retractable line in the front! It is by far the most realistic and, in my opinion, solid 'blocks warthog in recent memory. It stays together as well as any of the best Mega Bloks/Construx sets. CONS: No complaints.
