Yes, it's compatible with all of the 18V Power4All range (though it does require a different charger to the older batteries).

Received this for my Bosch hedge trimmer but there is not a charger. Do I need to buy separately?

Yes. The charger is a separate item. The idea being that you only need one charger for all your Bosch tools as the same battery will fit all the home and garden 18 volt range.
