This pressing pad has worked very well for my ironing and crafting. I know SO much felt these days, even if it is advertised as 100% real, actually contains some plastic, so I was thrilled to see that this mat is entirely, genuinely, natural fibers. The mat is quite thick, and I actually ordered a second one after discovering that my cats love them cut into strips as toys.

I should have purchased this years ago. It makes ironing for clothes or crafts so much easier. I love it. There was no smell at all which I was worried based on old reviews. The quality is great. I would buy again or for gifts. Really great quality.

Perfect ironing mat for small spaces and projects

While it was more expensive than other mats, Oliso is a trusted brand in the quilting and sewing world. Spend a little more for quality. You don’t want your fabric ruined by inferior wool pressing mats. This one does feature a buildable option for larger pieces.

These wool mats works more efficiently than a traditional ironing board. It helps create seams that are crisp and flat while reducing overall pressing time. I have 4 of these now. I love how easily they attach together to create a larger pressing area and they are small enough that I can pack them and take them with me when I travel. I use mine almost daily.

Convenient pad to iron on while piecing small fabrics together

It is so handy having 4 of these connected together next to my sewing machine. Only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star: the steam from my iron condenses underneath on the table top.

I'd replaced the ironing board cover but, despite spending silly amounts on it, I found that I was still getting the pattern of the metal from the board when pressing sewing projects. Enter these wool pads ... they stop all that in an instant. The iron glides over them, in fact, you need to make sure you're on level ground or your iron may try to slide off! I use 3 on my board and take them to our sewing meet ups. They make things easier and that was what I was looking for.

Game changer for my quilt making. So handy to have it right next to my sewing machine with my mini iron. Nice and thick. No funny smells detected.

This mat is fabulous. As a quilter, it makes a real difference when pressing seams. A bonus, for me, is the ability to enlarge the pressing surface by joining additional mats - it is easier now when pressing longer strips of material

I love how flat my seams lie when I use the mat. It’s a game changer. I am disappointed, however, in how quickly the mat compressed. Its life span will not be very long.
