Cutter Adaptor

Brilliant. Not too powerful but very useful around the house.

Delivery came a day early so that's good. Looks sturdy and feels great. Cuts parchment paper, plastic bottles, foil, bubble wrap and fabric beautifully. Soon I will try out the max 6mm thickness. I can't cut tight curves on card paper at the moment but still it's a good tool. I would recommend so far.

Works well for crafts and diy if cutting thin materials. Good for cutting kitchen drawer liners and a school projects using cardboard. Good fun tool and it works

Like so many other well known makers of DIY power tools, offering a variety of add on's or attachments to enable a greater variety of use from one item, I was somewhat sceptical that this particular small attachment would be nothing more than a short running, underpowered cutter of a variety of materials. But I really was both amazed and delighted to find that it works really, really well and what's more I was also surprised as to just how long it operates on a charge. As a disabled person I have a need to shop mainly online, with the resultant amount of cardboard packaging of differing thickness needing to be cut up small enough to meet the demands of the local council- for me this is a marvellous gadget/attachment, which I hope to be using for many years to come. There is a knack to using it effectively but, within a short while, you wonder why you never got one before- good old Bosch!

I had a good number of boxes to cut down to flat to put them in our cardboard recycling bag and I bought this cutter to do the job. Previously I have used Swiss Army knives, "Stanley" type utility knives and scissors. The knives always seem dangerous as I almost always seemed to be cutting towards myself and the scissors was slow. The cutter gets through fairly thick corrugated cardboard with ease. I used it to cut up the Amazon box it was delivered in. Overall I am very pleased with the cutter and also the other IXO accessories I have. The only two I haven't got are the BBQ blower and the spice mill. I might buy the latter for grinding small quantities of spices but as I never have problems with lighting my BBQs (I use a BBQ chimney) I won't be buying the blower for the time being.

This tool fits easily over the IXO screw driver. I have used in on a cardboard box and it is just about OK, but will struggle on anything thinker. Things which are very thin and flexible (such as paper) tend to get sucked into the blades. The blade has teeth which can chew material up. Overall OK for fast roughish cutting but certainly doesn't replace scissors.

Bought as already had the tool and wanted to break down lots of boxes. Really good at that and not too heavy to hold.

I really like Bosch Isio And Ixo tools but this is a total waste of money. I wouldn’t dream of using such a big toothed blade on fabric or blinds. It’s hard work on anything except the flimsiest corrugated packaging that I could just rip up anyway. I’ve gone back to using my stanley knife. I can’t think of anything else I would use it for so it’ll just sit in a drawer as another bit of expensive clutter. i would have sent it back but I’d recycled the packaging before I found out how useless it was.

Great at cutting cardboard boxes.
