Bosch Home and Garden Cutter Adapter for IXO

Brilliant. Not too powerful but very useful around the house.

Delivery came a day early so that's good. Looks sturdy and feels great. Cuts parchment paper, plastic bottles, foil, bubble wrap and fabric beautifully. Soon I will try out the max 6mm thickness. I can't cut tight curves on card paper at the moment but still it's a good tool. I would recommend so far.

Used for cutting cardboard, carpet and lino. Cuts well without risk of injury, not always a straight cut but this could be down to operator error as usually used freehand without a guide. iIhave cut materials up to 4 mm thick OK

Like so many other well known makers of DIY power tools, offering a variety of add on's or attachments to enable a greater variety of use from one item, I was somewhat sceptical that this particular small attachment would be nothing more than a short running, underpowered cutter of a variety of materials. But I really was both amazed and delighted to find that it works really, really well and what's more I was also surprised as to just how long it operates on a charge. As a disabled person I have a need to shop mainly online, with the resultant amount of cardboard packaging of differing thickness needing to be cut up small enough to meet the demands of the local council- for me this is a marvellous gadget/attachment, which I hope to be using for many years to come. There is a knack to using it effectively but, within a short while, you wonder why you never got one before- good old Bosch!

This tool fits easily over the IXO screw driver. I have used in on a cardboard box and it is just about OK, but will struggle on anything thinker. Things which are very thin and flexible (such as paper) tend to get sucked into the blades. The blade has teeth which can chew material up. Overall OK for fast roughish cutting but certainly doesn't replace scissors.

I had a good number of boxes to cut down to flat to put them in our cardboard recycling bag and I bought this cutter to do the job. Previously I have used Swiss Army knives, "Stanley" type utility knives and scissors. The knives always seem dangerous as I almost always seemed to be cutting towards myself and the scissors was slow. The cutter gets through fairly thick corrugated cardboard with ease. I used it to cut up the Amazon box it was delivered in. Overall I am very pleased with the cutter and also the other IXO accessories I have. The only two I haven't got are the BBQ blower and the spice mill. I might buy the latter for grinding small quantities of spices but as I never have problems with lighting my BBQs (I use a BBQ chimney) I won't be buying the blower for the time being.

Bought as already had the tool and wanted to break down lots of boxes. Really good at that and not too heavy to hold.

Attaches to ixo screwdriver. Easy to fit. On to screwdriver. Excellent for cutting cardboard boxes in to manageable pieces for recycling etc. Much safer than an old bread knife that I used previously, also quicker.

段ボールとカーペットを切断して捨てるために買いました。 装着したのはIXO5です。 段ボール2枚重ね切断 → カーペット切断 → アタッチメント付け外し の動画を添付します。[※動画1] 二千円しなかったパーツの割には大変よく切れます。面白くてAmazon段ボールを細切れにして遊んでしまいました。[※写真1] Amazon段ボールであれば動画のように2枚重ねた状態でガムテープごとサクサク切れます。3枚だとダメですね。切れたとしても機械を痛めてしまいます。 カーペットはよくホームセンターに売ってるアレです。数十枚ほどカビさせてしまって捨てたかったのですが自治体のルールで小さく切らないと粗大ゴミ扱いになってしまうので、ゴミの日の度にこれで袋ひとつぶんを切って捨てています。手で切るとすごい疲れるので大変助かっています。 撮影のため変な持ち方をしていますが、普段は切断される物を地面に置き、刃よりも後ろを掴んで保持するようにしています。指を切断してしまう可能性があり大変危険ですので動画のような段ボール・カーペットの握りかたをなさらないようお願い致します。じゃあ撮るなよって話なんですけど、取り直すのも大変だったのでごめんなさい。次からは気を付けます。 あと、アタッチメントの付け外しがワンタッチで簡単なことも長所だと思いました。ふだんは電動ドライバーとしての出番が多いので、必要なときだけサッとカッターに変身できて便利です。 【追記】 コレではなくドライバーのほうのレビューにトルクアダプターが働かないとかネジをナメるとか手首痛めるとか複数書かれているようですが、マジなんでしょうか？？？ 私の使っているものは2年間、トルクアダプター正常です。それと、ネジをナメるのは普通に考えてドライバーボディのせいではなく使い方やビットのほうでしょう……。 あと手首痛めるほど大パワーが出せる3.6V製品なんてこの世にあったんですか、すっごいですね！私が２年間段ボール切りまくってた間、いつのまにテクノロジーがブレイクしてダンスっちまったんでしょうか。羨ましいのでそれ欲しいです。

Ich wollte das Teil schon immer haben um Kartonagen klein zu schneiden. Bin begeistert wie gut der Aufsatz schneidet und auch sehr handlich ist. Klare Empfehlung, das Teil muss man haben.

Great at cutting cardboard boxes.

A bit expensive if not bought during some sort of sale. Apart from that, it's worth it, it's really useful. Alongside the other tools for the IXO V, this is one of the most useful for cutting packages and boxes.
