Great sewing machine table. The handy multi function of raising and lowering the machine is fantastic, making it easy to remove the machine so you can use it as a full table to cut out fabrics .

Well what can I say this table has given me the motivation to do more sewing. I set it up in my bedroom so that I can sew any time. It came on time or before can't remember. Setting up was easy. The table is stable looks lovely, my nephew saw it and he wants to get one for his room as a working desk. I went on the company's site to register for the warranty but I couldn't do it because the United kingdom is not on the list. So I emailed the company and told them so they said I could use the email as my warranty, and that they will update their site. So I printed the email and kept it

I bought this table as I have limited space. It meets all my requirements, it was easy to adjust to fit my machine, very sturdy and it wipes clean. Take your machine off, raise the platform and you have a general purpose craft/cutting out table. My only criticism (which is why I scored it 4 stars) is that where the platform fits into the table it could have perhaps had some kind of veneer around the edges instead of being left bare, this however does not not cause any problems when in use either with or without a machine. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone, in fact I don't know how I managed to sew without it!!

I bought this for my wife, who is currently making Masks and Laundry bags for her fellow x-ray staff and various other NHS staff and individuals who need them. She has worn one sewing machine out and was bought another by her Brother. But she was using the dining table to do her sewing, not ideal! Spotted this on Amazon and though what a superb piece of equipment for her. She is absolutely delighted with it. The adjustability of the sewing machine platform is a big plus, the best about it though is it being the right height to work at. Highly recommend this product and it arrived sooner than stated. Brilliant.

I have a sewing room upstairs (shared with the cat's stuff), but when it gets too hot I use the dining room table. Not really convenient and a tad too high. So I bought this. Perfect. Folds down easily and goes under the stairs when not in use, not too heavy and better still I can move it round to where ever is the coolest place. My sewing machine is a little too low for the platform as I use a lightweight sewing machine for downstairs so I just lay thick padding on first, which raises it up and then I use the machines attached sewing table, which covers the rest of the hole up nicely. I got the smallest one, with the smallest cutout. For the price and flexibility it is ideal for me.

Excellent sewing table if you are looking for a cheap fold up table. Very stable with good work surface. Only problem is the chain supporting the base is only on one side and the weight of the machine pushes the other side down, we put a piece of timber on the base at the correct height and it works well.

Nice bit of kit, a bit heavy, but that helps toward the rigidity needed for a table of this type. The device for securing the part of the table that lowers to allow the sewing machine work head to be level with the table top is a bit Heath Robinson.

Super Tisch,hat genau die richtige Größe wenn die Bastelecke nicht so groß ist, Finde die Qulität gut. Nur die Versenkoffnung hat eine goßen offenen Rand der dürfte etwas weniger sein und sollte mit der Tischplatte abschließen. Wenn nur gebastelt wird muss eine Platte darauf gelegt werden, sonst fällt einiges durch und es kann nicht präzise gearbeitet weden.

I rarely do reviews unless a product is really bad or as with the Gidget, really great! I having been sewing literally all my life and have had many different machines and cabinets. I usually put my machine on a table or desk but in searching for a way to do freehand quilting with as little repetitive strain as possible, I looked at many specialty tables. I did not want to spend $3000 on the fabulous Koala set up and I wanted something easy to set up. The Gidget at $119 through Amazon Prime looked like a good risk. I could not be more pleased. It was totally assembled right out of the box and even the height of the recessed platform was perfect for my Bernina 140 Patchwork Edition. I set it up next to the bed in my guest room (same height) and was sewing in less than 5 minutes. I have never had as comfortable reach, view and height of any previously used table. The table is on a tile floor, no rug and I ran the machine as fast as possible with little vibration. I will say that I can anticipate times when the cut out for the machine may be a problem as it does not exactly match. You can pay more for a wheeled Gidget 2 and cut out to exactly fit your machine. I will use a large sheet of clear vinyl with just a small hole for the feeds dogs. Other reviews have mentioned the roughness of the inside edges of the cut out but that is not an issue as it should be below the area where one is sewing. For the price of this sturdy table, you could cover those edges easily with table if you are bothered by it. Overall, this really inexpensive table is a perfect fit for my needs. Of course, with Prime, it was delivered quickly and I am hoping the Gidget will outlast me!

I don't have a sewing room so being able to make this table flat and slide it under my bed has been very useful. Even after setting it up and taking it down many, MANY times, the table still functions as it did when it was new. The surface remains clean and undamaged and the applied ruler is still completely flat. I was certain it would peel off after a few years but it is as good as new. I have sewn heavy fabrics and lightweight fabrics on both my standard machine and my serger and there is little discernable vibration. I am moving to a place where I will have a dedicated sewing room (YEAH!) but will keep this table for my machine regardless - I just ordered the custom plexiglass insert from the Arrow company and am looking forward to many more years of use from this table.
