OXO Good Grips Chef's Precision Digital Instant Read Thermometer

​I’m a big fan of OXO products because they are always so robust, and this digital thermometer is no exception. It has been incredibly useful for cooking my Sunday joints; it feels sturdy in the hand and offers great value for money. ​The design is brilliantly user-friendly. The bright, large display is very easy to read, and the head swivels so you can see the temperature from any angle. It’s also simple to maintain - the probe is easy to clean under the tap after use. ​I love that it takes only seconds to get an accurate reading, and you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit at the touch of a button. The included hard case is a great bonus for safe storage. If you want a reliable, no-fuss thermometer that just works, I highly recommend this!

Great little temperature probe. Wouldn't be without it in my kitchen. It reads the temperature very quickly when inserted into food. I've also bought this for friends. Very reasonably priced. One thing to note. This probe cannot be left in your oven while you are cooking. There are other probes for this.

I have now received my meat thermometer, not when the email said it had been delivered and handed to me. I am very pleased with it, disappointed to get the email saying it had been delivered and handed to me.

The thermometer is conveniently stored in a plastic case to prevent damage to the tip. It is easy to insert into the food that is cooking and gives a very easy to see temperature reading on its digital display. I tested it against known temperatures and it is very accurate.

I chose this following a recommendation in a magazine article which reviewed all types of thermometers from professional level to non battery level. The disadvantage is the battery will run down, so check it before a major event like Christmas, if like me you are an occasional user, but otherwise it suits my needs perfectly. It is compact, the movable head makes it easy to store in a drawer, the basic reference readings are on the removable sleeve so you can check that without putting your head in the oven. The figures on the screen are large so easy to read without glasses and you have a choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius settings. Good value for money. Worked well when I used it.

This is very easy to use, can adjust the screen at different angles to read more easily It's small enough to store away in a drawer. Great price compared to other similar thermometers - cooking temperatures ready printed on it so you can easily check the correct temperature for each type of meat/poultry you are cooking. Very happy with my purchase and came the next day after ordering - excellent service.

The thermometer is precise but the start button is fragile and brak easily.

It's OK, it works, but I'm never 100% convinced by the accuracy. It's nice that you can tilt the head so that you can view the temperature from different directions. It's also nice that it's very straightforward to use, not a lot of useless features to get lost in.
