iPhone 8/7/6s/6/SE 2020 battery case, 6800mAh ultra-thin protective charging case, portable rechargeable expandable battery charger (Black 8/7/6s/6/SE)

My phone constantly runs out of juice by mid-afternoon due to heavy daily use. Fitting this case was straightforward, snapping securely around the edges. The immediate noticeable difference is the sheer weight and thickness it adds to the device. Holding it to make a call feels quite cumbersome compared to the bare phone. On the positive side, pressing the back button initiates charging immediately, bringing my battery from dead to full without needing a wall plug. The material has a matte rubberised texture that provides decent grip, preventing accidental slips. I did find the buttons a bit stiff to press initially, requiring more force than usual. Charging the case itself takes quite a long time overnight. While it provides peace of mind during long days out without access to sockets, the trade-off in ergonomics is significant. Slipping it into a standard trouser pocket stretches the fabric tight. It serves the primary function of keeping the screen powered on during long shifts, though I mostly leave it in my bag rather than keeping it permanently attached to my phone.

This item was completely faulty would not turn on at all and Amazon would not allow me to return it as faulty as I don’t own a printer terrible in this day and age if the person that sent me the fault power case feel free to send me one that actually works

As a case and a charger I’m impressed with it so far. Ran my iPhone SE 2nd gen for about 6 hours continuous use on WiFi and was still showing 2 lights at end with phone fully charged. After only a few days I don’t feel able to rate durability, but I’ve no reason to question it, hence 5 stars. Very easy to mount and dismount phone. But none of my aftermarket charge leads would fit into the charging aperture. After about an hour of failing to locate the option to return it in the IOS version of Amazon (0 stars for the Amazon App!) it occurred to me Apple’s own cables might fit. I then bought two different sets of Lightning cables off Amazon specced as meeting Apple spec. Only one of them just fits into the aperture but I can’t work out which brand! There’s no obvious reason why the aperture should be so tight. I suppose a craft knife could trim the cable plastic to fit, but it’s something to bear in mind when ordering or travelling. Replacements may not be common, unless you pay for Apple OEM cables.

My old iPhone 8 battery had got to the stage where it did not even last a day. This case now allows me to go 2 -3 days before needing to charge it. It gets heavy use with podcasts, running apps and GPS draining it but I no longer worry about running out of juice. Only reason for not full 5 stars is it sometimes does not seem to charge while the case is being charged. This may be user error.

This case does add additional weight to your phone, you may want to consider wearing a belt in jeans or tie lace in your jog pants up tightly to prevent it from sliding down when placed in your pockets. Don't use the phone when it's charging, otherwise, it will take too long as it charges slowly. You'll get at least one full charge out of it when charging from 10%.

It’s not possible to insert any charging cable I own into the case and even if I could charge that up I don’t think it would charge the phone as there are no pins in the inside of the case that goes into the phone. I was supplied dead so I can’t check. It’s no good.
