Tasty and effective
My cats go feral for this stuff, they love the taste so much that they voluntarily eat any medication coated in it with no issues. After about a week of use we are already seeing a huge reduction in hairballs despite the cats still shedding like crazy. This is a staple for cat owners and great value.

So far so good
I bought this product because my cat hasn’t been eating her meals, she would only eat 1 meal everyday for the last few weeks which worried me as she should be eating 4 meals a day. I was thinking it might be something big like a urinary infection and would have to get her checked by the vets, and they would charge a large amount which I was trying to avoiding. After calling the vets numerous times they told me it might be a hairball, which made sense because I would always see vomit on the floor which looked like foam, indicating she’s trying to get something out of her system. This is the second day I’ve given her this hairball paste and for the first time today she has eaten two meals so far ( she has another 2 to go) and even meowed at me when I was holding her food bowl showing she’s hungry ( which she hasn’t done in more than a month). She hasn’t finished all her food in so long, she would always leave at least half or less left in her bowl, but she cleaned her bowl twice today. I believe the product works and she really loves the taste of it too, she wants more but I can only give her the recommended amount. Definitely get this if your cat is struggling to eat their food as it could be a hairball.

Great for preventing Hair balls a bit on the expensive side
My cat absolutely loves this! It’s really helpful and prevents him having hair balls, the only thing I would say is that it is quite oily sometimes in the texture and a bit too expensive!

As good as the more expensive brand
Same reaction as the more expensive brand. All good!

Obviously the quality of the product but also the overall price with was too high.
The product is great but after adding postage and packing was very expensive just for one tube!

Almost certainly saved a life
This is also related to the Bephar hairball treats which I bought at the same time. My daughter got a cat from a rescue center, while it had been well looked after in the center, the previous owner's health had been deteriorating and the animal wasn't just overweight, it hadn't been brushed in heaven knows how long. A couple of weeks in, I got a call from a desperate kiddo (she's 27 but still my kiddo) crying that he poor cat hadn't eaten in several days was crying and crucially, was "poopin". After some discussion I was able to identify the likely culprit was a hairball trapping the cat's digestive system. I'm not a vet, but it was clear this was a day or so before it would become a veterinary emergency because the hairball was causing a full-on blockage. I was able to catch Amazon Prime delivery and got these and the other Beaphar hairball treatment and get them the next day. We treated this animal with hairball treats which she loved and the paste which she didn't. We found that she was easy to dose, as Bephar suggest, by putting a little on her paws which she licked clean (taste or not). Given the animal was in an potentially life threatening situation, we needed this to work. Within 48 hours the cat had been able to pass a fairly large, a literally hairy stool. Within 72 hours, she was back to her normal self. This treatment, while a last ditch, saved a vet visit (difficult right now as we're in the middle of a Coronavirus lockdown). While I can't say that we should rely on products like this, many cats, particularly if not brushed well and regularly, will develop hairballs. Most cats are able to vomit these cleanly (it's thought that's why cats will eat grass) some will form blockages in their intestine which can, if not treated, ultimately result in an expensive surgery or in worst cases, an agonizing death. This stuff is worth having in as a prophylactic if nothing else.

USELESS. MY CAT WILL NOT TOUCH IT... AND I DON'T BLAME HIM.
Having read the good reviews here (my bad - I should have read the bad ones too, ) I thought I would try this for my poor cat who has been off of his food and attempting to cough a hairball up, to the point he vomited white froth a day or so ago. What a HUGE mistake. Firstly, there is no attempt made by the manufacturer to make this product look appetizing. It literally looks like poo. Thick, brown poo goo. Secondly, it is nigh on impossible to squeeze from the tube. I put a few centimetres on my finger as suggested. My cat sniffed it, then ran away. I then tried to mix it into his Lick-e-Lix treat which he gobbles straight up every time. He had a couple of licks, then walked away unimpressed that his Mum had tainted his favourite treat. He has now gone outside with a face like thunder. I refuse to believe that ANY cat likes this stuff and will readily eat it. I am also furious that I have wasted my money and this product cannot be returned. There will be countless cat owners (going by the reviews alone) who are in the same position as I am and are left with a full tube of this rubbish because their cat says 'no'. Avoid buying the product, unless you have enough money not to care about the loss or like a treatment for your cat that resembles what comes out of the other end of them.

Bought 2 of these hairball paste for my cat. One of the tube came with its bottom split. The paste squirted onto the envelope and another product I bought. Feedback to customer service and they refunded that one tube for me. 2 days later after I started using the 2nd tube, it’s bottom split again 🤦. The packaging of this product is not good.

Even tho' I brush my cat daily, she'd gag while trying to eliminate hairballs, now she isn't throwing up as much, I also dramatically reduced her dry food, she now has more raw and cooked chicken with added vitamins etc. I bought this paste to prevent build up and happily my cat loves it so will buy this again ... I love that it has added prebiotics, added bonus 24th I'm using just over half of rec. dose for past week and she's more regular in use of kitty tray than previous months, no more gagging, so it's looking good, will definitely buy more (before price rockets up as with most of these supps in past year
