VAMPLIERS 8" Linesman Screw Extractor Pliers + 10" Tool Pouch Made in Japan

Purchased this tool so that I could possibly remove the security bolts that were holding the burglar bars on the back of my house. I needed to pull them down and clean them up and repaint them. I figured it would be a chore getting the bolts off. Not with this took - took less than two minutes to unscrew the bolts on each set of bars. No problems with any of them. As an added bonus - none of the bolts were damaged in any way. I can easily reuse them when I put the bars back up. The tool is great - heavy duty and well made. I am very happy with my purchase. Will be recommending this tool & brand to everybody. Thanks.

Impressed with the grip of the teeth. They don’t slip. Haven’t had much opportunity to use these yet, broke them out 3 times so far for various difficult tasks. Wasn’t able to complete any of those tasks with this tool, but other tools broke trying to do the same. Tried these On one stuck fastener, no luck... but that fastener broke 3 drill bits, 3 different extractor bits, dulled 11 burr bits and broke 3 of them. Never did get that fastener to come out...drilled it and retapped the hole. But these pliers didn’t back down. Awaiting opportunity to have success with these. Happy with quality and design.

Had a stripped screw, tried Vise Grips 1st, kept jumping off. Tried these pliars, screw was extracted. Only issue, if head of screw has a larger diameter handles are spread pretty far apart, i have big hands, but hard to get a good "Strong Squeeze " on handles. Recommend an additional adjustable pliar, so the handles can be closer together for maximum Squeeze in the strength "box" of your hands. Bring in on, I'll Buy One!

They are comfortable, a little smaller than I anticipated. I am an electrician and I was assuming they were closer in size to lineman’s pliers. They have great grip as advertised, they are a great product, just not super versatile in the electrical world. That being said I would definitely buy them again because nothing can replace the right tool for the right job and these definitely have a place in my tool box.

These got used for the first time tonight. When I came across them, I didn't need them. But I remembered every pain in the butt time I needed something like this. Or rather, that I needed something like what this thing claimed to be able to do. So I just bought a pair. When I got them, I tried them out on a couple of test pieces, but that's not real. So today I sold an older car. And I needed to get the plates off to give the vehicle to the buyer. Of course, the very last screw was solidly stuck. It was starting to strip. This would have messed up a whole lot of paperwork. I grabbed these things and gave them a try. Worked 'almost' easily. It still took some effort, but they gripped great and got it done. And the screw was even still usable. Huge fan now. For all I know, it work work as well on next problem. And if they don't, I'll come back and explain that situation. But for now, I'm really impressed in how they worked. And it this case, it really saved me because if I couldn't have cleanly gotten that plate off I'd have had to delay the transaction. (And yes, I'd tried WD-40, etc. first. This was the only thing that would let me turn that screw.)

Wow they are just made with such precision. The pivot pin it is on is almost size on size. The grips are extremely comfortable and most inportant the jaws are just awesome. The multi directional jaws truly give them a superior grip. Where other pliers would slip these wont as the jaws go both directions. It seems crazy to pay $40 for olirrs but i have $70 worth of them in my toolbox and they are basically all rendered useless now cause these are soo much bettet.

I had very stubborn, rusted, stripped screws holding on an old license plate. None of the tricks in the book worked. I tried WD-40, Liquid Wrench, etc. Tried hammer taps, multiple screwdrivers and pliers and so on. Tried the rubberband trick, increasing the temperature. Never made any progress. After these showed up, the screws were moving within a few minutes. It took a bit of doing, as the screws seem to have been glued on in addition to the rust and the stripped heads - I assume the previous owner was worried about license plate theft. In any case, the screws were no match for these pliers. Worth every penny. Only thing that got me past the simplest, yet most frustrating step in getting my car road-ready. Replaced the old screws with stainless steel and finally moved on.

These pliers are everything I wanted and more! I was originally looking for a pair of lineman pliers but was look for something a little more affordable than Klein, and these pliers have way more than one use which a huge plus for me. If a tool can do more than its main function in usually sold. The feel and quality of the tool is great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a similar pair of pliers! Also Vampire Tools customer service is beyond amazing!

Engineer pliers from Japan are exactly the same and much better pricing. I have both pairs and sad I went for these thinking they would be better. More than twice the price for exact same quality
