DDr3 is old but still works and its cheap this is great if you want to boost performance on a low end pc.

I paired it with a same speed 4GB ram stick, and the dual-channel worked perfectly, the quality of the ram is INSANE. Build quality feels solid, no bent pins. Perfect. The memory came well packaged. It had not been touched, it had no fingerprints and worked perfectly out of the container. Windows 10 runs much better with 8 GB. I was using 4 GB, after installation and rebooting I noticed an improvement with all applications. The Spectrum TV application ran perfectly with the improvement to 8 GB.
