This is a very lightweight product and yet it feels sturdy. Very functional with sufficient pockets which are well-thought out. Zips are excellent. Recommended.

Sturdy construction with many compartments of varying sizes. I was able to pack a laptop and enough clothing for 6 days.

Lots of space, well designed compartments for useful organization for everything (even shoes), big tough zippers, durable cloth, fat handles. Fits on a plane, not heavy. Assuming the stitches hold up it would be hard to design a better travel pack, but there are two things I might improve. 1) The shoulder straps do not fully hide and 2) there is no hip belt. Hiding the should straps would matter most when checking the bags, which I rarely do, and would require another zipper and more cloth to cover them. The hip belt might be more trouble than it is worth; the bag carries well without them and they would be in the way of smaller cross body bags. So both the potential improvements might end up being complications for little real value. Design decisions involve compromise. As I said in the header, this is a good bag. And an excellent value for around 50 bucks. After a weeklong plane and car trip in multiple hotels I bought one for my wife, too.

After an extensive search for a bag that is just below Lufthansa cabin luggage limits, I found this one. It is well built, very easy to carry (as a backpack or in one hand), is made of very good quality, water-resistant cloth, and has solid zippers. Super-important: if not extended, the bag fits the cabin bag sizers like a dream, while leaving no gaps on any side - it has the perfect size. The only improvement I made to it was to insert a corrugated cardboard sheet (1/2 inch thick, the kind used to protect LCD screens in the box) in the outside pocket to prevent the bag cover from making a belly from the content pushing out. This helps keep the content organized while allowing the bag to completely fill the luggage sizer. Secondly, this backpack is very light, so you can actually fit quite a bit of useful stuff within the stingy 8 kg limit. The backpack is also expandable (if more space is needed) and has a bottom-accessible, separate pouch for dirty shoes or garments… awesome design. I bought two (one grey and one blue) because I have no plans to buy any other bags for cabbin luggage - perfection cannot be outdone, and this bag is PERFECT!!
