Is the non stick Teflon?

It looks like it would be but using cooking spray on it would be my recommendation. The first time I used it, the batter was sticking, but once I closed the lid again and let it cook a minute or so longer, the waffle came out fine. I will use cooking spray next time to the little nooks will stay clean.

What size waffles does it make?

The waffles are 4 inches in size. I set a timer for 2 1/2 minutes and they come out perfect every time.
