Good if you can't find fresh
I wanted to make Hainanese Chicken Rice, and like to add pandan leaves to it. However it's hard to find the fresh ingredient over here so I settled with the dry version. It got close to fresh but of course it's not exactly the same, but came out delicious all the same with it's fragrance. For a substitute it works very well and will have a long shelf life.

I thought it would be delicious.
I was attracted to this hearing of the benefits and the sweet vanilla smell. The herb I received I've only tried once, but there was no sweet vanilla smell. I haven't tried it again so I cannot comment on whether there are benefits.
