La Crosse External Sendor
This replacement sensor for a La Crosse home humidity and temperature weather station paired well after a few tries. Seems to be working well from outside now.

Perfect replacement
Bought this as a replacement for an old sensor that stopped working. Works perfectly with my C85845v4 weather station. Connected easily and immediately.

Disappointing
This outdoor device was a replacement for one that came with a La Crosse weather station about five years ago. The original stopped functioning, so I ordered this replacement. It wouldn't stay connected to the base weather station - the temperature and humidity reading would randomly go out for an hour or two and come back on. I called La Crosse, and they suggested that it was going through too many walls in my house, and to move it. Even though it was in the exact same place as the original, I move it closer. No Luck. Then I set it next to the weather station. Same problem, would not stay connected. So I sent it back to Amazon as an exchange. But wait! There's more! The replacement was placed where the original had been - out of direct sunlight and rain. It stayed connected, but it had wacky random temperature readings, sometimes as much as eight degrees too high. Even when placed next to the base unit, the temperature was sometimes the same, and sometimes again eight degrees off. So this time it was retunred for a refund.

Good that a replacement is available
My original thermometer sensor stopped working but this replacement didn’t help the issue so I returned it. I think the problem was with the main unit.

No problems experienced.
Worked great with our weather station. I hope this one will last more than two years.
