This is prodcut is really good and works as adveritised. If you are really looking for some usefull usb hub which can handle any type of heavy usb power consumption this does the work. Using it for over a month works smooth af Also able to use all the ports simultaneously.

Very useful for connecting multiple power-consuming gadgets to tab/lap.

A very good product

Its does its job and then some. For the price, its definitely worth it. There are some issues with it like the power sometimes turns on when u power up the system even when u have not pressed the power button but that is still okay. Slim enough for me to place it anywhere around my system.

Very very good product

Writing this review on 16 Oct 2024. Please take a few minutes to read this. Thank you. I ordered this product on 2 Sep 2024 for 2500/- and got it delivered the next day. Then connected it for the first time on 7 Sep, and it worked fine and after a week had to do some major file trafers between my USB hard drives, so connected it again on 14 Sept and this time it did not work. It was showing an error 'The last connected USB device Malfunctioned'. This was the same error shown on my Windows 10 PC and Windows 11 Laptop. Tried all the fixes on the internet but nothing worked. The issue was with the device itself, it was some hardware failure. So I tried to register the product immediately on TP Link and file for a warranty claim. The status of the product is 'Yet to be Confirmed' as of 16 Oct 2024. The product is not listed on their webiste it is not auto-detected and it is not easy to register on TP-Link's webiste. It took 2 hours just to do this. Then tried contacting Amazon before placing a warranty claim. By then the Retrun Window has been expired just 2 days back. And Amazon could not do anything on this matter. So moved on with the warranty claim. Couriered the product to Bangalore's TP Link Service centre on the same day, after talking to them on the phone. The service center person told they would get back in 2 days, but they didn't. Had to call him up and ask what was the issue with the proudct and the status of the resolution. He said the product has some motherboard issue, so you will be given a new one as replacement. But the consignment has to come and it would take another week. So waited for another week again. Then on calling back after 10 days he said it has arrived will get it delivered soon, but this did not happen either. He took another week, and had to call him serveral times to get it couriered. And finally on 16 Oct 2024 he couriered it, and didn't share the tracking number. I got it from the courier company's OTP message. So the new one here. Yay!! that's what I thought, but the package was the same and it had the label on the front cover 'Certified Refurbished Not for Sale'. So now I thought instead of replacing they had repaired it and sent it back. But I was wrong. Box was torn at the bottom, there was no seal and was dirty in most places. The product model number and other details were not there on the package, just the serial number and a UPC. Inside the box the USB Hub was placed without the outer cover, and the Hub was having scratches and finger print marks all over. On the back when checked the Serial number, there were 2 of them one matching the box and another from a different USB Hub, none of these serial numbers matched the product which I had sent them. The adapter has been replaced by a Generic 12 volts made in China, the new one bought had the original TP Link Adapter. USB Cable was also shorter than the original one. When connected it worked. But it is not worth it. The USB Hub has multiple versions the latest one is 4.6 on TP link's website, this can be found near the serial number on the box. The original one was ver 4.0, the refurbished does not have this info. This is crucial as each version has a different transfer speed and power output on the extra 2 slots on the side. This is an insult to the customer. After going through all this, paying the full amount and waiting for a month to resolve the issue, just to get a refurbished item. I am terribly disappointed and insulted at this moment. I have purchased many TP link products from routers to adapters in the past. But not any more. Thank you for your time in reading this. I am taking all this effort to alert anyone who is looking to buying this product. Please refer the images and be cautioned when buying this. I don't want anyone to go through what I did. I usually don't write long reviews, but today I took the pain and time to give the long version.

I am using this device from last month and I could say that it is the best one that I have ever had. Earlier I have used multiple USB hubs but over the time either the stop working or else it will provide you the fluctuating power issues or data transfer issues. It's really compatible with all of my devices and handles power very smoothly even for the heavy devices.

As a TP link customer, the branded products generally take favour against others. This hub is all in one multi ports, on/off switch and looks goods on the desk.

Very much satisfied with this item. I have been searching for a while for powered usb hubs for my extra HDDs. Tried several ones already in the market and all failed to have a consistent connection. With its power adapter and a high amp capacity I'm able to connect all of my drives. Wish I found out about this way earlier to save a couple of dirhams for other cool stuff.

Stavo cercando un hub USB affidabile da affiancare al mio setup e questo TP-Link UH720 ha superato ogni aspettativa. Lo sto usando con un PC Windows 11, ma è perfettamente compatibile anche con Mac, laptop, console, ecc.. La confezione è ordinata e comprende anche un alimentatore esterno: dettaglio fondamentale, perché consente al dispositivo di gestire periferiche energivore (come hard disk esterni o controller professionali) senza problemi di alimentazione. ⸻ ✅ Cosa mi è piaciuto: 🔹 7 porte USB 3.0: tutte funzionano perfettamente a velocità fino a 5 Gbps, testate con SSD esterni e chiavette USB 3.1. I trasferimenti sono stati rapidi e stabili, senza cali di tensione. 🔹 2 porte dedicate alla ricarica (fino a 2.4A): ricaricano smartphone e tablet in modo molto più veloce rispetto alle porte standard di un PC. Sono indipendenti: funzionano anche se il PC è spento. 🔹 interruttore ON/OFF , con LED: una chicca molto utile per evitare sprechi di corrente o scollegare fisicamente i dispositivi ogni volta. 🔹 Design solido ed elegante: finitura nera lucida, plastica rigida di buona qualità. Non si surriscalda neanche sotto carico. Cavo USB abbastanza lungo da posizionarlo liberamente sulla scrivania; ma se fosse stato un po’ più lungo sarebbe stato perfetto.. ⸻ ⚠️ Piccolo dettaglio da sapere: • Le porte di ricarica non trasferiscono dati, sono solo per alimentare dispositivi (ma è chiaro anche nella descrizione del prodotto). ⸻ 📌 In conclusione: Il TP-Link UH720 è un hub USB 3.0 professionale e affidabile, perfetto per chi ha tante periferiche (chiavette, mouse, stampanti, dischi esterni, cloche o pannelli da simulazione). Le due porte di ricarica aggiungono un valore concreto, e il supporto all’alimentazione esterna lo rende ideale anche per workstation più complesse. Lo consiglio assolutamente, sia per casa che per l’ufficio.
