So I have a weird story in which my original fan broke in my pa5 slim. With it being broken not spinning was my problem my ps5 would get hot and I wouldn’t be able to use it or run/play any games. That is until I looked on Amazon for a replacement fan and genuinely didn’t think I was going to find a product until this popped up on my search. I’m glad to say after using this replacement it gets the job done and it’s actually super silent so now the noise level in my room is lower because of it. The cooling is just the same as the old one and do be careful when getting this package as it can arrive damaged like my first one did. Luckily got that sorted out and they sent me another one free of charge with nothing broken and in perfect condition. 5/5 would recommend!

The fan was an exact fit. Fan seems to work better than the original. No noise and the value is good. The PS5 still over heats but I think thats by design. My wife and I both had a PS5 and they both died same day from over heating.. They were purchased a month apart.. Explain that. Anyways, good fan.

My PS5 was getting overheated every 10mins and it turns out the fan was not working. I could send it back to sony but it will take two whole months for them to fix it and send it back to me. So I decided to try replacing the fan myself. Only took me 2days waiting for shipping, and 5 minutes install, and this 23 blades fan saved my PS5. Now I can jump back to the game again. The one I got is really quiet, I can hardly hear the noise it’s making. And the cable length is longer than the original fan the ps5 comes with, unlike some of the other reviews said. Before you buy this fan, just make sure the fan power supply on the motherboard has the correct voltage of 12v. So that excludes the possibility that your motherboard is corrupted.

Decided to take on this weekend project of replacing my fan. The kit came with everything I needed except for a Phillips head screwdriver but everyone should have one of those! The reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the fan itself had the wrong connector, but I soldered the one from the old fan and it worked perfectly!

A very good replacement fan, doesn’t overheat, fits perfectly, installation was easy and seamless, came fully intact with no scratches or damages, and will buy again if needed.

Swap was a breeze, matched perfectly. Turned on no problems. Hopefully it lasts.

It lasted for about a year then the fan bearings went out.
