This model is such a better alternative to trying to build one from Metal Earth. It is very nice.

The lunar lander is iconic. This model is a great display piece and conversation starter. The ascent stage actually separates from the descent stage. This is a great reminder of the exciting Apollo years!

Detailed and well made as you should expect from Corgi. Recommended.

I also own the 14" tall BiKiBao SpaceX Starship Rocket. This Lunar Lander is almost to scale next to the Starship lander. Very satisfied.

Exactly what I wanted

Model is small - just something to be aware of, not a criticism.

As of Nov 2023, the description says the product dimensions are 6x6x6 inches and the actual model is closer to 2x2x2 inches. Even if it's referring to the box, it's not 6x6x6 inches either. There should be two dimensions listed, one for the item and one for the box, so customers aren't confused. Adding a diagram with the dimensions of the item to the photos would also be super helpful. As this item is only 2 inches tall, it's definitely not worth more than $20. I paid less since I got this used, but even then I begrudgingly kept it since I'm obsessed with the lunar module at the moment. If you want a larger, more detailed model, I'd highly recommend getting the Hallmark ornament.
