This is my second purchase of pepper gel from Sabra. The first time I purchased I tested it out in the desert away from animals and people. After spraying a bush I couldn’t get close to it without my eyes watering. It works great and is effective. Just make sure you get use to holding it so you have muscle memory. The fingers should be in the indents. People write they carry these in their pockets or in their purses, XXX, it won’t do much good unless it is in your hand. I have mine hooked to the outside of my purse or clipped to my pants. Always available at a seconds notice. I feel comfortable walking my dog after dark, or coming come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying the gel instead of the spray. No spray back on you if you are downwind.

I got this for my girlfriend and her roommate because they live in an urban area and tend to stay out late sometimes. Getting this for them let's me sleep well at night. Small enough to fit an a belt or lanyard comfortably, but big enough to be seen and act as a deterrent.

I live for n not the greatest neighborhood when it gets dark. I ordered these because I have to take my dog out in the dark. I will feel safer with these. They show you videos of how to make sure you know how to use these. That was well appreciated.

Thankfully I haven't had to actually use this for protection. But I did spray it outside to see how it works. It is very comfy to hold, plus I can hook it to the handle of my dogs leash or on my keychain. It's very easy to spray and sprayed way further than I thought it would. I hope I never need it but if I do, I think it'll work well.

Bought pink ones to make it easy to see in my purse or backpack. Little concern about accidental discharge with the flap over the button. Definitely gives some sense of security when out walking or hiking - more so with aggressive loose dogs than people!

Wanted to get pepper gel and found these as a recommendation. I haven’t tried them yet but they are a good size and have a keychain attachment. There’s also a lid that covers the button for extra safety.
