Beaver Horseradish Extra Hot 4oz (Pack of 2)

I love hot and spicy sauces. I can usually eat any hot sauce put in front of me. Today, I received this product. I immediately tried a small teaspoon sample. I almost fell over! This stuff is HOT! Very strong horseradish taste as well. I read other reviews about missing heat. Their missing heat must have found there way into my jars! If you like hot and tasty horseradish, you will love this product!

This is very tasty stuff if you like horseradish. But beware it is ultrahot. Try a very small bit on some meat or fish before thinking about piling a lot on. It is rather extreme🔥🥵

I don’t have any idea of what could have gone wrong with this product, but it’s like it was watered down, Absolutely not Hot at all, weak flavor, I had the same product at my son’s house just a few days prior, to my eating it, which prompted me to order through Amazon, since the stores were out, his was so HOT, we were crying, and our noses were running, it was amazing. With my Amazon order, I literally slathered my Prime Rib, and nothing , ruined my meat. Even the expiration date, was current, Will never order certain food items again, via the mail, would rather just pull it off of the store shelf Maybe the Seller can provide me with an explanation, or a refund, don’t even want the second jar, in the order.

This was recommended to me from the Modern Proper shrimp cocktail sauce recipe. It’s a tad expensive and took a week to arrive (I guess it’s coming from Oregon). It’s a cute heritage brand and I enjoyed its flavor and tang. Not sure why but it contains egg as listed on the ingredients label. My youngest child is allergic to egg so I try to avoid products with it. Not that I have to worry about her eating horseradish sauce. It’s a spicy concoction for sure.

Love this horseradish-can’t find any horseradish with this much heat at any of the grocery stores. However, one of the bottles were leaking. After checking, the bottle wasn’t broken but it looks like the lid came unscrewed somehow so I paid for two but can only use one.

I don’t personally like the taste, they just did to much salt, less horseradish flavor. Quality is good, fresh. But keep it less from that salt.

Not exactly extra hot. Good horseradish though.
