TRS Tapioca (Sabudana) 500g

Tapioca is a traditional pudding and I have enjoyed it since childhood. This is a very good size and value for money. And it still tastes the same as it always has. Still the good old frog spawn from childhood. I use a slow cooker to make it in which cuts down the cost of making it. Also dried whole milk powder can be used rather than bottle milk and it still is as good. I hope you find my review helpful

I would have preferred to see preparation information on the pack so I know right away whether to soak it for a while or cook straight up. Besides that...good product

Makes a lovely pudding, only dose not have a recipe on the packet, but tasted great when I found a recipe.

This tapioca is perfect. I bought it to grind down to flour. Unfortunately the large groceries stores no longer stock it and it has become really difficult to get hold of. I bought three packs of 500g and it was easy to grind it down using a regular coffee grinder. Tapioca is one of the main ingredients in many Asian steamed pudding recipes and there is not really anything that you can use in place of it. I have previously used the same make of tapioca for tapioca baked pudding. It looks like a smaller version of Sago but it is actually totally different product. Tapioca is from a Cassava Root and Sago is from Palm stem and is much larger in size.

It may be okay for other 100+ tapioca recipes, but didn't work out for a 'brazilian style' tapioca. It was too dry... I've put some water on it, but even after a few days I couldn't get it properly hydrated. If you are a Brazilian looking for a traditional tapioca, don't get this one. For other recipes, it may be okay.

Tapioca makes a delicious pudding which can be eaten hot or cold. This tapioca makes a good and quite clear pudding and when cooked in milk (full cream: semi skimmed or skimmed) and in a crockpot also makes the most of slow cooking and maximises the overall flavour. This 500g pack will make around 10 puddings and each will serve 4 people so it’s plenty of tapioca. I was pleased to find this product on Amazon.

Non è facile trovare la tapioka nei normali supermercati e quindi mia moglie (brasiliana) ha deciso di comprare questa su Amazon. Risultato ottimo per l'impasto. Il sapore è ottimo e sembra vera tapioka fresca. Dalla confezione sembra di origine asiatico mentre leggendo bene l'etichetta è prodotto in Inghilterra (UK) e distribuito dalla Vibrant Foods olandese. Quondi soggetto ai rigorosi controlli anticontaminazione Europei Il prezzo è un po alto ma tutto sommato accettabile se si considera che non biaogna girare tutti i supermercati per trovarla e in più ti viene recapitata direttamente a casa con la velocità di Amazon!

Bien. Las compré para hacerlas con leche de coco . Muy bien. Solo q un poco pequeñas.

Tolles, fast vergessenes Lebensmittel, was in keiner Küche fehlen sollte.
