They look very interesting and they’re very easy to use. I thought they’d melt in the beginning with the heat but turns out they don’t melt the at all. The qualities is also amazing. They’re very functional like they fit most pots and pans. That’s overall their very good value for money.

They do the job, but also add some fun in the kitchen; friends playfully move them around, and place them in silly positions!

My daughter in Johannesburg told me about Lid Sid, having seen them is shops there. Being a lover of clever gadgets, I had to have one and am certainly not disappointed. Not only is Lid Sid very useful but it also gives rise to much comment when seen in action by visitors to my kitchen. I love my Lid Sids and my congratulations to the very clever designer of this product. I see that he has designed lots of other similarly quirky must-haves for my kitchen, so I've not finished shopping yet !

I like the fun design. They do stop pan contents boiling over, are easily washed and stored. Don’t think they really need to cost over £6 per ‘wee man’ though. Box came in a Jiffy bag and was a bit squashed so would not have been happy if I had wanted to give as a gift.

I originally discovered these in Milan and found them so useful and yet amusing, that I have bought about eight sets as gifts. They really work and I no longer have sticky, burnt-on mess trailing down the sides of my saucepans and all over the cooker. Also, because the edge of the lid stays inside the saucepan without slipping, there is absolutely no mess to clean up.

If you're fed up with pans boiling over, then this is the item for you! Really cute two pack of little silicone men who sit not he rim and balance the lid on their backs AND they really do work. We were sceptical, but are now complete converts. Yes they are a bit pricey, but totally worth the money as they haven't let us down once. They wash easily and don't stain - even if the pan had something with a strong colour in it. Great little product.

These two little men are funny and cute but most of all they serve a purpose. To let the steam out of the pan by holding the lid up at just the right height. I am thrilled to bits with them and will use them everyday. They arrived quickly and well packed. I am sure they will give years of good service.

Easily washes clean if needed. Has many uses. Functionality combined with a cute character!

Ce petit gadget finalement utile cela évite le débordement sur la plaque de cuisson. Quand je mets un couvercle sur la casserole, avec ce petit bonhomme le couvercle tient mieux et cela permets de chauffer plus vite et d économiser de l électricité .De plus moins de nettoyage sur la plaque.
