Perfect Grip Upgrade for My Steam Deck
The PlayVital back button enhancement set feels amazing—adds a solid grip and makes the buttons easier to reach. It’s subtle but makes a big difference in gameplay. Pros: Comfortable, easy install, customizable thickness Cons: Slight learning curve on install

Awesome enhancement for the Steam Deck. Definitely recommend
I had a little trouble getting the stickers to work because the room to pull off the backside is so small, but once I did that, I was set. They give you plenty of backup stickers too (double what you need) so no issue there. The back buttons are very useful in games but I’ve always found them a little awkward to press so at times I’ve found myself taking my thumb off the right stick and reaching for the face buttons even when I shouldn’t. These grips change that. They feel great and add slightly to the ergonomics of the Deck as a whole since it’s easier to rest my fingers on the back. It all comes in a small pouch too so you can store the extra button and sticker set very easily. Everything I could ask for really. Definitely recommend them if you’re experiencing similar difficulties with the Deck’s buttons. Most of the other products similar to this are just stickers to make them more grippy or add texture, but this makes them actually easier to press.

Installing is a hassle, defective adhesive strips
To install the buttons, they give you double sided tape pads. It's similar to putting on a screen protector, simple process. They gave 3 me sets of 4 stickers. Turns out I needed all three. Two of the sets only had adhesive on one side, and the third set had the plastic cover bent into the tape slightly so I had to cut it to pry the plastic cover off. Once they're installed, they're good. Improves the back button feel

Excellent enhancement that I was looking for!
This was something I badly needed and had been waiting for. I'm not entirely sure why, but the back buttons have always felt awkward to use. Optionally, there is a 3D printable attachment you could get made that snaps on to the back of the Steam Deck and gives the back buttons an extended feel, like the rear buttons on the Steam Controller. I think that's what's been missing - something that made the buttons feel a bit different than just being flush with the back of the Deck. These come in 2 thickness sizes, 4 enhancers each, with multiple pieces of double-sided adhesive, in case you mess up (I messed up once!). They come in a neat little clamshell case with alcohol wipes and a mini microfiber cloth. Step 1 was to take my TPU grip case off and remove the skins I had already placed on the buttons. Step 2, clean and dust the buttons with the alcohol wipes and dry them off with the microfiber cloth. Step 3, pick the desired thickness and position the button enhancers. Step 4, apply the double-sided adhesive to the enhancer. A note I'd like to make is to apply one button at a time. Step 5, place the enhancer on the button. Try to get it right on the first try, because if you try to remove it, the double-sided adhesive can pull off of the enhancer. That's where I messed up! Another note is that the adhesive pieces are mirror images of each other, so it doesn't matter which one you use as long as it matches the shape of the button and enhancer. Step 6, put the case back on, and enjoy! I used the thicker enhancer versions since I have a grip case on it, and let me tell you, there was a huge difference right away! I was able to play Doom 2016 and jump around and chainsaw successfully. The same goes with Team Fortress 2. These enhancers are game changers. They're made out of a nice, grippy, soft rubber that contours perfectly to your finger tips. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking to make the back buttons more comfortable and accessible; they're terrific!

Amazing product that helps pressing the back buttons easier.
The design of back button on the steam deck makes it very difficult to press due to the button is flat out on the back of the device. This give great height leverage to press the buttons easier. The adhesive on these buttons also works better because of a flat, larger surface of the back buttons

Hope your stickers are extra sticky
R4 wouldn't stay attached until the second to last sticker provided, after wiping the buttons down with iso and letting it sit for a minute or two. Otherwise, they add a good texture and somehow feels like they help me grip the device a little better, too.

A nice way to improve grip feel.
First off, I want to thank this company for sending both the small and large buttons, since I had no idea which one I was going to put on first. I eventually settled on the smaller size for both, but I imagine you could mix and match to what feels most comfortable. Installation was very simple, and they label everything to make sure you know exactly where each rubber bit and tape should go. They feel very secure after a month, and I haven't had any issues of them starting to peel or falling off. The rubber can get a little bit slippery if my hands are sweaty, but with how much the buttons stick out from the back, as well as the hexagonal carvings in the rubber, my fingers never slid off of the buttons. If you are prone to getting wet hands when playing, I would probably suggest you try to find a design that has raised bumps on the rubber instead of carved indents.

Rip Off
I didnt get the right instructions, no wet or dry wipes, the adhesive was only one sided. A blue side and a pastic side that wont peel. Their support page wont accept the amazon order number so I cant get help at all. Honestly this feels like a bait and switch as it doesnt match their own video on how to apply this.

Comodidad.
Un producto bueno que cumple con lo que promete, el diseño es óptimo y cómodo. Pensé que se despegarian al poco tiempo pero aún siguen en su sitio sin ningún problema.

Great product - some clarification and tips provided
Despite the seller saying there is only one set of stickers included, I decided to give this a shot because it would be easy enough to cut out carpet tape if necessary. Fortunately that isn't necessary, as there are actually four sheets included (so you have four tries to get this right, or can share with a friend). That communication issue aside, I'm really quite impressed on the presentation...zipper case with mesh that can be repurposed for who knows what (I'm putting my USB charge adapter and joystick caps in there for now, but it would also fit ear buds and a charging cable quite easily). The adhesive is 3M and it grips very well to the SD button. Getting the backing off of something that is precision cut is a little challenging - I suggest you find a pair of fine tweezers or a hobby knife and poke at the corners until you find one that wants to lift. It's not that difficult. The buttons are a soft rubber and I'm finding the slimmer ones to be just enough to get access to those troublesome buttons. They do grip to the adhesive, although given how smooth the grip surface is, it can easily be peeled off, as well. I took the tip of a sharp knife and lightly scored a hatch pattern on the back of the button in hopes of giving it a little more something to grip onto. I expect this will be fine, but I do see the possibility of the buttons coming off through regular use. Perhaps that's why they included that really nice carry case :). Removing the adhesive from the button is really easy. Just press with a finger or thumb and roll it from the edge. Overall, I think this is an excellent product. It would be a 6/5 if the buttons could be engineered to stick a little better. But at this price, I'm not complaining!

the first week one of the buttons fell off twice, since then they've been great
great addition to the steam deck, not that I ever use the back buttons but it's nice to have something to rest my fingers on
